Partially because the color story is perfection but also, as a fairweather Gemini myself, Melt's color stories feel like the only ones that have ever done Gemini justice. It's always the afterthought in other brands' collections but Melt put a spotlight on it and did it well. Contrasting yet complementary. It checks all the boxes.

I am a super fan of Melt too. Their mattes are like ink and their shimmers are so yummy even if like you said they aren’t that necessarily dazzling. I love how The Waiting Room looks on you! My personal favorite Melt palettes are the Muerte palette and the Mary Jane palette.
I am beyond happy to say that I FINALLY own Melt products!!! My very first purchase was the brought-back Gemini Palette!!!!! It's everything I love!! Greens, grunge, jewel toned lusciousness!!! Autumn is my favorite time of year and I ca see myself wearing this allllll the time!!! I also just recently bought their blush palette and fan mascar brush! I definitely knew you're number 1!!!! I definitely agree whenever they stray away from the long pans Im not interested. Thats why I skipped Mariposa last holiday. I love Gemini but I think 27 is underrated. Great video!
I definitely guessed your top 4 and agree: I have yet to come across a Melt Palette I don't like. I think what people term as 'inconsistencies' are sometimes just different formulas that are Melt typical: the rich, bht not too shiney shimmers and the crumbly and textured shimmers that feel like you're rubbing actual Ganja on your eye. But that's exactly what I like because it's a very Melt look and gives dimension in a different way than classic, beginner-friendly formulated shimmers. Not everything has to be the same to be good. My favourites so far are: 1. Mary Jane, 2. Gemini II, 3. She's in Parties, and 5. Smoke Sessions. But Muerte is on it's way so I'm really curious, seeing as you (and almost everyone) like it so much.
I have several melt palettes and I love that they are magnetic. I use them in custom palettes all the time! If I am looking for ultimate pigmentation, I reach for melt's mattes. Goalz from Gemini is one of my favorite shades of all time. I just ordered muerte and amor y mariposas. I'm so excited for them to arrive!
I'm glad they re released the gemini palette because I love the colour story, it's such a nice palette and I have wanted it for such a long time. I was really tempted by the muerte re release but I really don't like the limited edition palette panic-buy situation, I would rather save and think about if I want the palette and if I will use it because money is tight. It was announced and then released so fast and it's already gone again... I love your makeup in this video!
I really like Melt Cosmetics too! My favorites that I own are Amor y Mariposas , Muerte , Blue Print and the Smoke Sessions palette. I really love their eye liner pencils too, need to use mine. Fun video!
So grateful they re-released Muerte and I love looking at it now in my collection. I've been coveting it for two years. I have She's in Parties and Blueprint. You need to be on the pr list for Melt!!! The one that appeals to me would be the burgundy’s, so pretty, I love the look you have today, the lower one on the rating. I haven’t found a palette from melt that spoke to me yet, I do think the brunett one is gorgeous but can’t justify the price but my mom has it, so I can borrow it 🤎🤎 Also I would love to see Shroud cosmetics and blend bunny cosmetics ranked!! 🤎🦁🐃
I don't think I've ever seen a Melt palette that wasn't pretty. I loved this ranking. I don't have all of these but I do have both Gemini palettes, the Blue Print palette and Amor y Mariposas. I think my fave out of those is the Blue Print or Gemini I.
i still didnt buy the muerte palette. i love looking at it but i used the same colours in my wilderness palette and knew i wouldn't ever use those dark shades. love the look of it though
I felt it so hard when you spoke about the layout of Recently Deceased. It also annoys me that I annoyed myself over being picky about it but hey - we're just being true to ourselves, right? 🤣 I find that I feel that way about Impulsive (OMG - that thing is a BRICK), The Waiting Room & even Amor y Mariposas (which is definitely one of my top Melt formulas).

I was a little wary of trying them for a while because of all of the negative & hit/miss reviews I also kept seeing, but after watching you use & SOOO enjoy a couple of their products, I decided to give them a chance. I have a lot of trust & faith in your makeup opinions. I’ve literally never disliked a product you’ve tried/recommended in your videos. I’m always so grateful I stumbled across your channel because you helped to rekindle my creative spark & love of playing with makeup again. I’ve also never met a Melt product I haven’t loved. I don’t really understand the hit-or-miss reviews either. To me, all of the various combinations of formulas & shades in each individual palette are always specifically tailored to the vibe/personality of that palette, and they feel very intentional & well thought out for truly bringing the specific vibe of each palette to life. They’re just special, IMHO lol… I have 10 Melt palettes currently, but Muerte on the way will make it 11❣️I’m super excited for that!! I'm such an old Melt fan that I still have my Dark Matter and Love Sick stacks 😅😅 but my Muerte is absolutely my fave palette from them, probably followed by my Mariposa. I also have Blueprint (palette, not stack), Amor, She's in Parties, Millennial Pinx, Four Twenty, both Geminis, and Smoke Sessions.

I don't think I could rank my Melt palettes because they're all my favorite 😅 I recently used my Millennial Pinx again for a cute summer look. I've also never met a Melt palette I didn't like. I'm not sure if the formula just works for me or if I'm just lucky and get good batches. I was so happy they brought Muerte back cause that was the one that got away. I ordered it as soon as it was available. Their cream blushes and liquid lips are some of my favorites too. Fawn is my go-to lip during fall and winter 🖤🖤

I haven't tried them. I have the Vida palette because it was randomly re-released so I wanted to get it in case the muerte palette came back lol. I just ordered muerte so I will try the melt formula soon!!! I used the vida palette to make a green eyeliner once though.
My top 3 are the exact same yours. Then the beetlejuice collection, then Gemini 2, then Impulsive, then the Mariposa palette, and last Vida palette. I got rid of the Pinx palette, Smoke sessions, and FourTwenty because I just didn't use them. 💜💚🖤
I just tried them this year n I am so glad I did. I recently bought the Gemini set and the muerte palette. I can't wait to add them to my collection, especially muerte.
I only own the Mary Jane pallete. It's fine, I don't love the shimmers, and I don't typically wear neutrals. But I do really like it cause I'd say it's the only cool tone neutrals I own! I thought about ordering the Muerte with the re-release, but I feel like I may not use it much cause I feel like I do bright colorful more than deep colorful. But I definitely almost bought it multiple times 🤭

I just ordered my very 1st Melt palette. I am getting it on Sept 9th and I’m so excited! I went with the 420 palette but I also love the Gemini palette and I was torn between them. After watching I wish I went with Gemini or my next 1 is going to be that one!!! I can’t wait to try the formula. Insert Grungy Emoji Here! LOL! So recently Melt rereleased the Muerte Palette, and I was so tempted. It is the only Melt palette that I ever wanted. I decided that I was not going to get it however. Between my Club Nebula palette and others in my collection, I could dupe the deep mattes. Those are what drew me to the palette in the first place. I talked to Angie about it and she agreed that I could get the same vibe as far as those deepest mattes. It is still so beautiful, but I am also super cheap and I don't want to spend the money. I am still waiting to see what they release before I rip the band-aid off.
I only have 4 Melt Cosmetics palettes, I realy want to buy the Gemini I et II and the Muerte palette. If I had to rank the one I already have it would be: 4- Recently Deceased: very beautiful but a bit limited. 3- Smoke Session : love it but there is only two mattes. 2- She's in Parties : amazing and beautiful, I have nothing bad to say about it. 1- MaryJane : I realised with it I actualy love brown eyeshadows. I find myself so pretty with it, plus it's really easy to do pretty looks using it.

I don’t have the beetlejuice palettes. I didn’t pick then up at the time because I had just had twins and wasn’t wearing any makeup, and fomo on all the stuff that was getting released was just making me mad. But I honestly don’t feel like I missed out, at least not with the waiting room. It’s definitely too limiting in what I can get out of it. The other one seemed more interesting but they came and we’re fine so fast, no reason to beat myself up for that. I have to agree with most of your ranking, except that I would definitely include amor y mariposas, vida and smoke sessions on my top 5. The only palette I didn’t pick up besides the beetlejuice ones Brunette, but I tried that one and it just didn’t work for me at all. Didn’t even felt like melt, to be honest. Everything else I have loved and treasured. 🍁

Gemini was my favorite palette in my collection for SO long!! I also wanted muerte for forever but I was able to talk myself out of it when they restocked it recently. It's still stunning but With all of my blend bunny palettes I realized that I didn't need muerte.
You just justified my purchase of Muerte last week when it re-released LOL. Time to rewatch your looks with it. The only other palette from them I have is Amor y Marisposas which I got on sale this year and that color story is just gorgeous. Just tried Muerte for the first time yesterday and my first thought was "oh holy crap that's pigmented." At first I thought it was going to be impossible to blend, but I was wrong. It just required more patients and precision than what I'm used to. I really liked the way it looked in the end. The only palette I've had huge issues with so far has been Four Twenty, which is too bad because the color story is soooo good! I just couldn't make it work no matter what I did. Idk what was different with that one but I wish they would reformulate it.
Definitely would like this series to continue; I will be happy with any brand you choose to rank! Your ranking totally makes sense. I have 4 Melt palettes; my favorite is Muerte, 2. Vida. 3. Mary Jane, and 4. Millenial Pinkx, but I love all of them. 🧟♀️🥾🌑🌫🖤
I've been using the 420 a lot recently and I love the colors but I do think they are hard to blend, I won't get rid of it though because I love the colors.
Aside from the 2 Beetlejuice palettes which I ended up not getting because I panicked over the price when it came time to check out, Muerte is their only palette I really wanted. But at the time of original release I did not have the $$$ and I missed out. Thank goodness they brought it back and I was able to get it this time! I will say I wish they had given more notice it was restocking than just 2 days, I feel bad for anyone who wasnt able to get it because they didnt happen to have the money right then because they couldnt plan ahead for it.
I got Millenial Pinx, MaryJane & Blueprint all through their mystery boxes which was great for me because I couldn't bring myself to commit to any palettes after missing Muerte & Vida because I was just salty about it but also because of all the hit & miss reviews, so getting them on such a great deal was great but I like I ended up liking all 3 of them! The metallics in MP & MJ are both really crumbly but like not unusable or bad in anyway! I also always wanted Gemini, Smoke Sessions & Four Twenty but I got dupes for the 1st 2 so like I tell myself I don't need them..... but maybe one day. So happy i could finally get Muerte but I still want Vida :( i skipped it on previous restocks out of rage of not having Muerte but now regret that 🤣🤣🤣
Met was the first makeup I bought as an adult that wasn’t from Freddy’s when I was looking for cruelty free makeup it’s what popped up that’s when they did the stacks I’m still sad I never got radioactive the stack or pallet
So surprised you don’t have the Rust palette as that also is a gorgeous palette my Muerte palette is on its way to me so I should have it in the next 2 weeks or so be my first time having it

I would just recommend checking out the shades I used in my tutorial and using things similar in your collection! I don’t typically go out of my way to “dupe” palettes-that’s not really my thing! I’m all about just finding inspo 😁
I have 3 palettes from melt (well muerte technically isn't arrived yet but) & I love them I think the only one I wish I had was the waiting room bc I love reds but _because_ I love reds so much, I have lots of them, I felt like I didn't need it 😅 _edit: oh she's in parties looks gorgeous! I don't know why I do wrong but I struggle more with their formula than I do others but I want to love them, dang it! I feel like Kaleidos hasn't launched anything new and exciting in a while. I am waiting to see what they do next. 2021 was such a pivotal year for them and so far 202w has been pretty mild. Only the quads a d the blushes.

I'm such an old Melt fan that I still have my Dark Matter and Love Sick stacks 😅😅 but my Muerte is absolutely my fave palette from them, probably followed by my Mariposa. I also have Blueprint (palette, not stack), Amor, She's in Parties, Millennial Pinx, Four Twenty, both Geminis, and Smoke Sessions.
I have the Amor y Mariposas palette and I love it 💜🖤

I don't think I could rank my Melt palettes because they're all my favorite 😅 I recently used my Millennial Pinx again for a cute summer look. I've also never met a Melt palette I didn't like. I'm not sure if the formula just works for me or if I'm just lucky and get good batches. I was so happy they brought Muerte back cause that was the one that got away. I ordered it as soon as it was available. Their cream blushes and liquid lips are some of my favorites too. Fawn is my go-to lip during fall and winter 🖤🖤

I haven't tried them. I have the Vida palette because it was randomly re-released so I wanted to get it in case the muerte palette came back lol. I just ordered muerte so I will try the melt formula soon!!! I used the vida palette to make a green eyeliner once though.
My top 3 are the exact same yours. Then the beetlejuice collection, then Gemini 2, then Impulsive, then the Mariposa palette, and last Vida palette. I got rid of the Pinx palette, Smoke sessions, and FourTwenty because I just didn't use them. 💜💚🖤
I just tried them this year n I am so glad I did. I recently bought the Gemini set and the muerte palette. I can't wait to add them to my collection, especially muerte.

I only own the Mary Jane pallete. It's fine, I don't love the shimmers, and I don't typically wear neutrals. But I do really like it cause I'd say it's the only cool tone neutrals I own! I thought about ordering the Muerte with the re-release, but I feel like I may not use it much cause I feel like I do bright colorful more than deep colorful. But I definitely almost bought it multiple times 🤭
I finally got Muerte on the rerelease as well as Gemini when II launched because I had wanted it for so long. Mary Jane was my first Melt palette and I’ve collected several since. I agreed work all your choices in the ranking!!

I just ordered my very 1st Melt palette. I am getting it on Sept 9th and I’m so excited! I went with the 420 palette but I also love the Gemini palette and I was torn between them. After watching I wish I went with Gemini or my next 1 is going to be that one!!! I can’t wait to try the formula. Insert Grungy Emoji Here! LOL! So recently Melt rereleased the Muerte Palette, and I was so tempted. It is the only Melt palette that I ever wanted. I decided that I was not going to get it however. Between my Club Nebula palette and others in my collection, I could dupe the deep mattes. Those are what drew me to the palette in the first place. I talked to Angie about it and she agreed that I could get the same vibe as far as those deepest mattes. It is still so beautiful, but I am also super cheap and I don't want to spend the money. I am still waiting to see what they release before I rip the band-aid off.

I only have 4 Melt Cosmetics palettes, I realy want to buy the Gemini I et II and the Muerte palette. If I had to rank the one I already have it would be:
4- Recently Deceased: very beautiful but a bit limited.
3- Smoke Session : love it but there is only two mattes.
2- She's in Parties : amazing and beautiful, I have nothing bad to say about it.
1- MaryJane : I realised with it I actualy love brown eyeshadows. I find myself so pretty with it, plus it's really easy to do pretty looks using it.
Just saw Melt is having their BF sale and havent tried them yet. Had to come to this video because i dont trust anyone as much as you! I picked up She's in Parties and both Gemini. Thanks for the reccomendations!
Melt’s palettes are a bit dark for me overall but those brights look to die for 😍 great series 💕

I don’t have the beetlejuice palettes. I didn’t pick then up at the time because I had just had twins and wasn’t wearing any makeup, and fomo on all the stuff that was getting released was just making me mad. But I honestly don’t feel like I missed out, at least not with the waiting room. It’s definitely too limiting in what I can get out of it. The other one seemed more interesting but they came and we’re fine so fast, no reason to beat myself up for that. I have to agree with most of your ranking, except that I would definitely include amor y mariposas, vida and smoke sessions on my top 5. The only palette I didn’t pick up besides the beetlejuice ones Brunette, but I tried that one and it just didn’t work for me at all. Didn’t even felt like melt, to be honest. Everything else I have loved and treasured. 🍁

Gemini was my favorite palette in my collection for SO long!! I also wanted muerte for forever but I was able to talk myself out of it when they restocked it recently. It's still stunning but With all of my blend bunny palettes I realized that I didn't need muerte.
You just justified my purchase of Muerte last week when it re-released LOL. Time to rewatch your looks with it. The only other palette from them I have is Amor y Marisposas which I got on sale this year and that color story is just gorgeous. I'm so sad I didn't get the beetlejuice collection, specially that green/purple palette 😍

Just tried Muerte for the first time yesterday and my first thought was "oh holy crap that's pigmented." At first I thought it was going to be impossible to blend, but I was wrong. It just required more patients and precision than what I'm used to. I really liked the way it looked in the end. The only palette I've had huge issues with so far has been Four Twenty, which is too bad because the color story is soooo good! I just couldn't make it work no matter what I did. Idk what was different with that one but I wish they would reformulate it.
Definitely would like this series to continue; I will be happy with any brand you choose to rank! Your ranking totally makes sense. I have 4 Melt palettes; my favorite is Muerte, 2. Vida. 3. Mary Jane, and 4. Millenial Pinkx, but I love all of them. 🧟♀️🥾🌑🌫🖤

I've been using the 420 a lot recently and I love the colors but I do think they are hard to blend, I won't get rid of it though because I love the colors.

Aside from the 2 Beetlejuice palettes which I ended up not getting because I panicked over the price when it came time to check out, Muerte is their only palette I really wanted. But at the time of original release I did not have the $$$ and I missed out. Thank goodness they brought it back and I was able to get it this time! I will say I wish they had given more notice it was restocking than just 2 days, I feel bad for anyone who wasnt able to get it because they didnt happen to have the money right then because they couldnt plan ahead for it.

I got Millenial Pinx, MaryJane & Blueprint all through their mystery boxes which was great for me because I couldn't bring myself to commit to any palettes after missing Muerte & Vida because I was just salty about it but also because of all the hit & miss reviews, so getting them on such a great deal was great but I like I ended up liking all 3 of them! The metallics in MP & MJ are both really crumbly but like not unusable or bad in anyway! I also always wanted Gemini, Smoke Sessions & Four Twenty but I got dupes for the 1st 2 so like I tell myself I don't need them..... but maybe one day.
So happy i could finally get Muerte but I still want Vida :( i skipped it on previous restocks out of rage of not having Muerte but now regret that 🤣🤣🤣

I would just recommend checking out the shades I used in my tutorial and using things similar in your collection! I don’t typically go out of my way to “dupe” palettes-that’s not really my thing! I’m all about just finding inspo 😁

I have most of their palettes including Smoke Sessions & Blue Print. The only one that I didn't like was Mary Jane, it was just too glittery for me.

I don't know why I do wrong but I struggle more with their formula than I do others but I want to love them, dang it! Lol Although my wallet prefers I skip them anyway because they are a little bit over my price range anyway. Lol

I feel like Kaleidos hasn't launched anything new and exciting in a while. I am waiting to see what they do next. 2021 was such a pivotal year for them and so far 202w has been pretty mild. Only the quads a d the blushes.
