Thats an ill setup. The 3000xl takes some time to learn, but once you learn the menus, it's really fast to sample and gives you so much sound shaping capabilities. I've always been curious about the ssl six. big sound, small package.

Wow. Great to see you back. Love your new setup. This was actually my first set in '97 when they both first came out. I had a great hookup and got both of them fully loaded for $3200 USD, which back then was a sweet deal. But it is a great setup. I sold the S3000XL a few years later, but I still have my original MPC2000. It's always been that it machine. Enjoy your setup. I hope you're having as much fun as I did when I first got it and can't wait to hear more music and stories about it.
Glad to hear you're familiar with the combo. It's a lot more versatile than I expected. The 3000xl sounds great to my ears and is so customizable. I'm having fun with it. And they're still kinda cheap.
@eddieleonard6925 Yes, I was my perfect combo then. I used to use all the 8 outs on the S3000XL and all ten out of the MPC2000. Here and there, I would add sounds from a Kurzweil K2000 I had borrowed. But most of my tracks were just the 2 Akais. I haven't connected them yet together, but nowadays I have (2) MPC2000, an MPC One, and an S6000. I'm dying to do a track just with them alone.
I had that four track in the background. It just disappeared from my parent’s house. I have been trying to find for years. I’m glad that you bouncing back from your situations.
I hope you can find another tascam, because that machine is amazing and so versatile. I found mine at a garage sale for $35 bucks a few years ago. I use it all the time.
I'm not gone lie bro that groove at 3:20 is one of the strongest I've heard in a long while. The pocket is ridiculous. Not sure what you have in mind for it, but dam.. Subbed you 👑
Hey Bruh-I am SOOO glad you're up and running again! Equally glad you've got another 3000 coming, although that's only because I know that you (understandably) are looking to replace the one that was lifted from you, and NOT because I think your music needs it in order to be hot. I actually am loving what you're doing right now between your S3000XL, your 2000 and the K.O. I was seriously considering getting an S3000SL for months, but I finally just sprung for a new MacBook Air-I needed a new computer a lot more than I actually "needed" an S3000SL (which is to say: didn't need one at all). After taking the time to get really clear with myself, I just couldn't justify spending on an SL given what I knew I was looking to it for: 12 bit sampling, given that I knew that between my MPC Live II, all the Lofi gear I have, my K.O. II, Cubase and the almost 50,000 samples I own, I truthfully already have everything I need to get exactly the sound I'd be looking to the S3000SL for. It was just more boredom masquerading as "need". So I passed. May get one one day, just for fun. Because it does look fun, in it's own way, as you've touched upon. Congrats and, again: glad to have you back.
Thanks for the note! You have more than enough to make whatever you need and create any sound you need. Also, the 3000xl is 16-bit, 44k. You can sample at lower sample rates, and when you pitch down, it "sounds" like it's 12-bit, but it's actually a pretty clean sound, so maybe its better you got a computer, which is more versatile. thanks for the support!
hey mate, been watchin your channel for a bit now and always so creative.. so good.. glad to see you uploading and making music . peace from australia .. ✌✌
