all mixing and crafting of sound is
The convereters on that puts the new ones into shame it sounds way better n finish
Thanks. This thing is really flexible. You can use your own preamps if you don't like the sound of yamaha convertors. I use a mix of both.
@@eddieleonard6925 true i have some studio grade gear i like to pass my drums into my apogeee mk2 then using my maag equipment and neve summing boards
@@shevyjohn9308 that's an amazing setup. Yea, if you track through gear like that, you can get a great sound out of any recorder.
Did you have a chance to try the built in sampler of the 4416? I wonder what the limitations are in case you have to rely on it
I have tried it. It's a very cool idea, but it's cumbersome in actual use, as you can only sample by importing from a cd, selecting a segment of recorded audio, or recording via one of the inputs. All of my inputs are used up, so it's easier for me to just use one of my many samplers. I bet if I play around with it enough, might lead to some interesting stuff, but I haven't given it the time.
Nice man, do you have your MPC midi’ed to the AW for sync ?
I haven't tried midi sync between the two yet. I'm cool just outputting everything and treating the AW like a tape machine.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks!
You have any experience with the tascam 2488 neo?
I do not. Always been intrigued though. You recommend it?
@@eddieleonard6925 no I was asking to see if you would make a video on it if you did. Big request but yt is lacking in information about it... I was gifted one and have no idea how to use it. Curious though, would you want to borrow mine? Not sure how DMing works on here but I would be willing to lend it to you if you're into the standalone DAWs. Right now, it's just sitting on a shelf lookin pretty.
@@Tallstreehouse that's kind of you. you haven't been able to find a manual? Tascams are usually pretty straightforward to use, no? you can always email me. eddieleonardbeats at gmail.
@@eddieleonard6925 I'm pretty familiar with how this sort of thing SHOULD work, but I've never actually used a standalone "daw" that wasn't just a tape machine looped to a mixer with outboard comps and effects.
@@eddieleonard6925 ill shoot you an email tomorrow 👍
