Shows like this wouldn't last a season on today's "sophisticated" TV...such a shame.

This episode was directed by Yul Brynner . Years later when he was firmly established as an actor Brynner appeared on What's My Line game show moderator John Daly reminisced with Brynner about his working with him on an early TV program as a director .

I was born in 1949. Betty! Hey, If the savings on the food is the same as what it cost for a year for the freezer, Why buy the freezer? The second year savings! Oh, ok….?But what if, in the second year, you buy less food, but you still have to pay for the electricity? The acting was stellar. Imagin wearing all that heavy clothing under Kleeg lighting. Like a zillion degrees. The seen when she was listening to her thoughts was brilliant. AND she looked like office Barbie.

I just saw her in the film noir classic Raw Deal with Claire Trevor, John Ireland, and Raymond Burr. She was sensational. That last starring role you mentioned I believe was in The Grand Inquisitor directed by Eddie Muller, host of TCM's Noir Alley. Mr. Muller said she was the most gracious performer he's ever encountered.

There was the last movement of Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique: "Dream of a Witch's Sabbath" and also a bit of Prokofiev's Symphony No. 5 at the end. Didn't recognize the other pieces. But I think the theme song is the same one used for the radio version of the Amos 'n' Andy Show.

Is he gaslighting her? I was listening to am Radio. The moderator or host asked what it meant to be gaslighted, and where the expression came from? To be gaslighted means that the person closest to you, in this case your husband tries to drive you crazy, or believe that you are losing your mind. The word gaslighting refers to a movie filmed in the late 1930's with Ingrid Bergman, Charles Boyer, and Joseph Cotten. Whenever Charles leaves the house, he is actually sneaking into the attic, and turns up the lights. This movie takes place before the turn of the century, in the ,1800's, when there was no electricity and all lights were turned on or off using a gas generator, and smaller lights on the wall individually with a gas lamp and matches. The name of this movie,I think was "Gaslight".

So many women feel pressured to find a husband "GOTTA HAVE A MAN". "Pass on the family name" for guys. Grandma wants a grandchild. Then pressured to have a baby because society says that is what women should do. hmmmm! ...... just please take more than 3 days! LOL! Very important decision and not to be taken lightly. Men too!

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are."
    1 Corinthians 3:16-17!
GOD destroys with ETERNAL punishment in the lake burning with fire and brimstone!

Hmm..... The phone is dead? Yes, why doesn't she look upstairs, or the bathroom, or the kitchen, or , I'm sure there must be a cellar, or Attic? These old houses had both cellar and attic. Not a very smart woman. If it were I, I would have searched in every crack and corner of that house including his pants, Coat pockets and desk drawers.
