Great movie. Well written and directed. Doesn't even feel old. The Cold War between Russia and America continues. Wonderful acting. Hollywood needs a Tyrone Power. The women are stunning beauties, and they can act!
Ever seen "The Third Man" with Joseph Cotton, Orson Welles, Trevor Howard, and the lead female is fabulous. I consider the last 90 seconds to be the greatest cinephotography in the history of film. Also, an excellent Cold War film is "Night People" with Gregory Peck, Buddy Ebsen, Broderick Crawford, and excellent character actors,
Zor production, Thanks for the upload. I love old movies. Tyrone power was such a gorgeous man. So sad he died early of a hereditary heart disease. And smoking and drinking too much. (Which many male big stars in the 1930's-1950's were guilty of doing)
1952 was when people actually listened to Walter Winchell, who was the voice-over for this film. Winchell's character would be put on display in the Clifford Odetts' play & later with the film "Sweet Smell of Sucess" released just a couple of years subsequent to this film.
Michael Ansara [husband of Barbara Eden and played Cochise! ] was "Ivan" uncredited at 1:22:26 when he took he envelope from Hildegard Knef as Janine Betki
@@sohara.... Yes. Good scene. He also played that crazy cook who worked the diner on the California coast. Forgot the name of the movie. Very versatile actor.
This is when the United States of America was ADMIRED AROUND THE WORLD. Not just for her wealth and power, but for her HONESTY, INTEGRITY AND HONOR. What has TRUMP DONE TO THIS GREAT NATION ALREADY.
We are now again dealing with rogue agencies that are ostensibly part of the executive branch. (but not really) For a free people, rules promulgated by some agency or other should never be considered to have the force of law, whether or not someone in charge of that agency believes himself to have been granted plenary bossing authority.
Movie is mixed up can’t make sense of it. Kind of slow and draggy for all the wonderful actors that’s in it. It’s just not that good Tyrone power is my favorite Patricia Neil. I absolutely love, but this is not a good movie.
Hmmm. a plot pattern; "Night People," 'The Third Man," and this movie, "Diplomatic Courier." All three have a military duo, that is a Colonel and a Master Sergeant who are intel operatives.

WHAT a GREAT FILM I had never seen in my 68 years!
A 73 years old spy movie better than any one made in the last few decades for sure ! I’m impressed.

You CAN'T beat Tyrone Power, especially in this!
Wow. Patricia Neal was a true beauty. And Tyrone Power...what a hunk he was too.
Charles Bronson, Lee Marvin and Michael Ansara! What a bonus! Great film. Twists and turns. Non stop espionage!
Ten times better than any contemporary spy movie. The final moments absolute magic.

Excellent film. Thank you for posting it! ❤
A+ outstanding!!!
This is a very good movie.
Karl Malden a favorite actor
Did you notice Charles Bronson is an extra on the train? That lady was the first Mrs. Walton
Actually, Bronson had one line. "cigarettes".
Great black and white movies ❤❤❤
Patricia Neal was such a beauty then.
Beautiful certainly but in this movie extremely unattractive.
Very nice thank you
Enjoyed the movie.
GOOD MOVIE!!!!!!!

Mr. "Streets of SanFrancisco" Karl Maldan. I know the dark haired spy from different it's shows. The days were good back then😢
Super, Hildegard Knef, Germany!!!!!!!!!!!! She is young!!!
Michael Ansara [husband of Barbara Eden and played Cochise! ] was "Ivan" uncredited at 1:22:26 when he took he envelope from Hildegard Knef as Janine Betki
Great Spy 🕵️♂️ Movie 🎬 😊
16:54 charles bronson chomping away in the dining car, sitting next to the entrance.
Sounds like Tyrone Power did voice overs for William Holden!
Lee Marvin was certainly young in this movie. He's at about 35 minutes.
A very young Charles Bronson on the train.
Any movie with Stefan Schnabel is a must-see.
Released June 13th,1952
6:30 FYI strict regulations about firearms on flights was not in effect until 1961,
IMDb rating: 6.8⭐️.
26:49 "Ernie"...smooth face sgt MP Karl Malden going thru dead man's clothing.
Karl Malden, E.G. Marshal, Charles Bronson, Dabbs Greer, and Lee Marvin in bit parts.
Lee Marvin @ 33.38
Charles Bronson, too (15:58) He is one of the first two guys following the hero.
Also, Michael Ansara showed up in the latter part of the movie.
Lee Marvin was the man! He could play normal characters and downright psychos. Good actor.
*Lee Marvin* 33:38. Must have a look!
@@sohara.... Yes. Good scene. He also played that crazy cook who worked the diner on the California coast. Forgot the name of the movie. Very versatile actor.
Around 56:30, a salesman shouts in Turkish: "Silivri yoğurt, kaymaak". (trans: Silivri yogurt, creamy) Very funny!
How did a message in April 1950 come AFTER a message announcing invasion of Kore a in June 1950?
The script just said it created as much excitement as...

T Rump is bringing us back to that time; a time when we were racially prejudiced, treated women like dirt and white men ran everything.
Good movie. Believable. What was Charles Bronson doing in this movie? I saw him several times but his role was unclear.
He was one of the Russian thugs who killed Sam on the train.
He was just a low level commie thug.
Bronson was one of the guys following watchman.
That's lady is from "Breakfast at Tiffany's"
9:16 Charles Bronson enters.
I backed it up! Wow! Young henchman Bronson 9:00
💗

Jeez, it's a movie. A "Play Like." Don't preach over something that's a fictional story. You're showing a personality trait akin to a Propagandist.
@10:06 min. Somehow, she sounds a lot older than she looks -- or is that heavy makeup?
😮
Riveting. Taut. I wonder why has never been better known.
