Great movie. Well written and directed. Doesn't even feel old. The Cold War between Russia and America continues. Wonderful acting. Hollywood needs a Tyrone Power. The women are stunning beauties, and they can act!

Ever seen "The Third Man" with Joseph Cotton, Orson Welles, Trevor Howard, and the lead female is fabulous. I consider the last 90 seconds to be the greatest cinephotography in the history of film. Also, an excellent Cold War film is "Night People" with Gregory Peck, Buddy Ebsen, Broderick Crawford, and excellent character actors,

Zor production, Thanks for the upload. I love old movies. Tyrone power was such a gorgeous man. So sad he died early of a hereditary heart disease.
And smoking and drinking too much. (Which many male big stars in the 1930's-1950's were guilty of doing)

1952 was when people actually listened to Walter Winchell, who was the voice-over for this film. Winchell's character would be put on display in the Clifford Odetts' play & later with the film "Sweet Smell of Sucess" released just a couple of years subsequent to this film.

We are now again dealing with rogue agencies that are ostensibly part of the executive branch. (but not really)
For a free people, rules promulgated by some agency or other should never be considered to have the force of law, whether or not someone in charge of that agency believes himself to have been granted plenary bossing authority.
