I've been eating oatmeal for breakfast almost every day for the past 6 months because it's convenient for me with my teaching job. Lately though the texture and taste has made me feel sick and I'm starting to crave saltier foods in the morning. I can't wait try the carrot lox and the tofu egg salad for breakfast now!
Sarah! I recently combined Chobani Oat Nog with chocolate syrup or (hot cocoa mix) to make hot cocoa and OMG. Very sweet, but wonderful on these cold winter days. If you guys like vegan nog, def give it a try. My new favorite.
That “egg” salad looks so delicious! I just made a batch of vegan Mayo and I’m gonna try this egg salad before I head out the door to have later. Thank you for all of these recipes. They all look delicious 🤍.
I remember seeing this on Food Network years ago. Boil the sausages in a bit of water, with a splash of oil. As the sausages cook, the water will reduce. Once the water is gone, the remaining oil will crisp the outside and develop that awesome flavor. Comes out great each time. You can also cut them up once boiled, since they’ll be firm enough, then return the pieces to the pan to sauté them.
just for clarification, I think you mean steam the sausages with water in a pan until water is gone and then continue to fry? That's the way I used to make traditional sausages. Boiling means submerging in water, which I really don't think you would want. I had never thought of doing this, so I'm going to give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.
One of my favorite recipes is also pretty simple (If you make gnocchi beforehand or buy them) Just roast some halved cherry tomatoes in a pan, salt, pepper. You can mash some for more "Sauce". Fry your gnocchi so they get a little bit crulispy on one side. Add a little bit of parm at the and and most importantly(!) Fry up lots and lots of sage in oil and pour that on top :) i loove those crispy leaves!
Your videos have been very helpful for me transitioning into vegan and having different options especially the ramen which I loved and did not want to miss. thank youj
Dood...Yondu is such a game changer! So many of my favorite Japanese recipes call for dashi and finding vegan dashi isn't the easiest but that Yondu solves that problem! Thank you for showing me this product! That ramen looks insanely delicious omg For cooking Beyond Sausage, the way I like them best is partially freezing them and slicing into rounds (or elongated rounds) then frying them off.
I loved this video. So many great recipe ideas. Drooling over the soy milk ramen, I love eating shiitakes like that, usually I just cook them in butter and eat with rice 😋
Your reciipes always look absolutely delicious. I have never made Mexican Wedding Cookies (heard of them but didn't know what they were) but love the fact they are vegan (no egg required). Going to give them a try this week.
I am a huge Ramen guy but also super, super lazy when it comes to cooking. Your Creamy Soy Milk Ramen looks like a nice goal and "challenge" for the week for me to achieve. :^)
your two's recipes always look so, so good! I can't even pick a favourite from this video; they just all look so good. that being said, I'm definitely looking forward to trying those carrots
I love that horseradish! And the best part...my hubs hates it so it's all for me 😋. I like to mix the horseradish with ketchup and make a cocktail sauce for the Gardein fishless fillets. I love your videos. So relaxing and hunger-inducing at the same time.
Hey Sarah! Just sharing something here: when I started being vegan, 6 years ago, I remember one of your videos showing up (it was something with noodles). You had few subs at the time and watching your videos helped me a lot in the beginning! For some reason down the way, even being subscribed, your videos stopped showing up (idk why). Now you showed up again! What a pleasant surprise! Good to see you are well :)
I literally love you guys. 😊 And I'm very much enjoying the snippets you've been giving of Washington in your videos; I'm moving to Oregon in the spring and I can't wait!
Yum all of these meals look so tasty and cozy! Lately my go to meal has been sweet potato black bean chili with vegan sour cream and some of the Abe’s cornbread muffins they are so good
Honestly, I really think you could open up your own little Vegan cafe'. I know I've said this before, but all of your food always looks so nice! Your videos have been so relaxing and cathartic for me lately, and I love putting them on and just zoning out.
The sausage is my favorite. I make mine on my cast iron grill pan. I put it in my little toaster oven once with potatoes around. Was pretty good, just took longer. Love your videos💕 I don't eat out so I need all the new ideas I can get.
I've been vegan for 12 years. There are a lot of vegan cooking channels out there but I think yours is the best! You seem very cool and nice. Hope you stick around for a while!
Absolutely loved this video and your music is perfect. Love you guys! Keep making videos like this please! Just had some more of that tofu egg salad on my salad. So good. Those carrot lox’s and bagels looked so tasty too! I’ve just recently made ramen too. Loving anything peppermint lately!!
The grill is absolutely the way to go for the beyond sausages. Not really as feasible in the winter time, I know. But they're so so good grilled on a barbecue.
oh this is kinda nostalgic! i found your channel through the faux smoked salmon video many many years ago. was obsessed with them. i may have to revisit soon, your bagels look so good!
Thank you very much for the smoked carrot recipe ! I've tried the salt crust baking method for these and it was very time/energy consuming, i felt bad wasting so much salt and the result was very mushy/disappointing. I'll have a try at your version ❤
I have a cast iron grow pan that I cook my Beyond sausages in these days and I think it works the best they get crispy and a lot of the grease will fall away from the sausages
I also love that millet ramen its so good. My favorite which I just made yesterday for a potluck is pineapple fried rice. I sometimes do faux egg with potato flakes black salt and tumeric. I mimic the dish from a local thai restaurant so it has a bit of curry pwdr and raisins also :D super yum
Queen I just want to say....thanks for keeping it real and continuing to make excellent content. I've been subscribed to you for so long and your recipes never disappoint!!
Omg everything looks SO delicious! I’m watching this in bed and haven’t had breakfast yet lol. I want to eat a little bit of everything! I love air frying beyond sausage 😊
The Bagels and Ramen looked so yummy. I'm tempted to try to make Bagels. Never made them before. Dill is so yummy on Potatoes. We call them Snowballs. They are so yummy.
Hello! Everything looks so good. Do you have a recipe for your Mexican wedding cookies? They remind me of what my great grandma used to make and the nostalgia is hitting hard lol
Hi Sarah! I think it’s unfair to make a blanket statement and call a vegan high-carb, low-fat lifestyle a “fad”. There’s a negative connotation by using that word. For some, it may be a fad, just as any other way of eating has the potential to be. But it can be a very healthy and sustainable lifestyle, as I personally have found it to be. I get that it is not for everyone and certainly has the potential to provoke disordered behaviors for some. But that is not the rule, and I would hate for others to be deterred from that lifestyle or have preconceived notions based on a reductive labeling of “fad”. 🙂
I think others should be deterred from that "lifestyle" unless directed to eat that way by a registered dietician. There's no reason to demonize oil and fat unless you have a medical reason to do so. To be fair, though, I think restricting yourself to any "diet" is harmful. And this is coming from a nutrition student. There's nothing wrong with eating a certain way because it authentically makes you feel good. You should absolutely listen to your body. But you shouldn't label that as a specific diet, then. Just intuitive eating. Limiting yourself to specific diets can cause disordered eating and unhealthy mindsets.
Oh my goodness I made the egg salad last night lol and I had looked up an old video of yours! Will be posting tonight 😊will finish watching g your video in a bit 🤗
Sadly here in korea many types of instant ramen pasta contain eggshells :( but now there are a few vegan ramen around, took long enough... Thanks for all these great recipe ideas~ ♥
These recipes look so delicious! Can't wait to have some carrot lox and bagels on Sunday morning. I need to go watch your latke recipe for this week. Happy Chanukkah!
Hi Sarah, when do you use your Airfrier and when your oven? Here you put the Carrots for one hour in the oven, Air Fryer is quicker isnt it? Are there any rules which devise you use? For large amount its clear the oven but otherwise? Like a lot of your cooking, love that you use mainly fresh products. Greetings from Austria.
Yummy 😋 vegan food in this amazing what beautiful Sarah has been eating lately and love 🥰it. Bread has been made by humans for centuries probably since the beginning of humanity. Love 💕❤Sarah & Eric.

I like seeing "failures" in recipes videos, it seems so much real !
I’ve eaten “failed” bagels before - they’re genuinely alright. 😂
@@annasin2634 I did that too, it was great toasted 👍
Me too! Those 'failed' bagels looked pretty damn good and better than I would have made lol.
I highly recommend using flaxseed oil and seaweed flakes to add to the lax/salmon-marinade!

Ooooo that sounds really good!
haha throwback to the hclf days that drove me into the worse health of my life. Thankful to have mayo back full time 🙂
That “egg” salad looks so delicious! I just made a batch of vegan Mayo and I’m gonna try this egg salad before I head out the door to have later. Thank you for all of these recipes. They all look delicious 🤍.
What do you put in your vegan mayo? Because I’ve tried making it and it never tastes quite as good as the store bought one😩
this was a good one I've really been enjoying when you ask me to cook you things, since ya know, you're the Roy Choi to my Jon Favreau hehe
i love how you two are doing this more together :). happy holidays, hope you have a nice cozy and stress free time ☺

High carb low fat helped me lose 50 pounds. I love making my whole foods mayo with cauliflower and cashews. Your food always looks great 👍 yumm

Yondu IS a game changer. And that method for cooking the Beyond Sausages is interesting...we'll have to try it next time!
I loved this video. So many great recipe ideas. Drooling over the soy milk ramen, I love eating shiitakes like that, usually I just cook them in butter and eat with rice 😋
Followed you for years Sarah - I enjoy you and your channel so much! Thank you for being you!
I have IBS and although I’m not vegan you have made my journey around food a hopeful one!
I’ve been eating the tofu egg salad every day this week- THANK YOU! It’s so so good
Love that!!
we do our beyond sausage in either the air fryer or the convection oven which is actually the same unit. can't wait to try a few of these recipes.
Your reciipes always look absolutely delicious. I have never made Mexican Wedding Cookies (heard of them but didn't know what they were) but love the fact they are vegan (no egg required). Going to give them a try this week.

We love cooking Beyond Sausages on the George Foreman grill! I roll them on their sides after a few minutes so that they’re a little crispy all over.
Your lentil Wellington is to die for! Now it’s a staple in our Christmas dinner. Thank you for sharing your awesome recipes❤
Yum all of these meals look so tasty and cozy! Lately my go to meal has been sweet potato black bean chili with vegan sour cream and some of the Abe’s cornbread muffins they are so good

Try steaming the Beyond sausages. Brown a bit afterward if you want. Everything Bubbies makes is amazing.
Thanks Sarah because i have been a vegan myself for 12 years now and i feel great 😁👍
oh this is kinda nostalgic! i found your channel through the faux smoked salmon video many many years ago. was obsessed with them. i may have to revisit soon, your bagels look so good!
My favourite sausage cooking method is in a chargrill cast iron pan. The fat can drain away and the slats add a great caramelisation ❤️✨
I throw in a teaspoon or 2 of capers in my "egg" salad, its amazing :)
The best way I found to cook the beyond sausage is to cut them in half lengthwise and fry them in a little olive oil on all sides till crisp
Your bagels 🥯 looked perfect! And so did everything else you made! And I’m betting they tasted great too, just like you said ❤
Air fryer for beyond sausages, burgers and meatballs works well.
I’ve had the same tofu press and it’s still going strong after 10+ years, highly recommend 👍

i just love watching your videos! thank you for showing us what you eat. also love the combo of you and eric in the videos. :)
The air fryer is my fav for beyond sausage!!!
Nice video. Thanks for posting. (Add dulse or nori flakes to the post-cooked carrots to add a hint of "seafood" flavor???)
Have you tried cutting the sausages in half and frying them kinda butterflied? I haven’t tried beyond “meat” but I bet that would be good

All of these looked so darn good but the sausage and peppers night looked amazing, definitely going to have one of those soon myself.
Your videos are so relaxing for me to watch!! So glad to have found your channel. Wish you a healthy happy holiday and new year!
I just found your channel and I really like it. You guys are good cooks. Have a merry Christmas 🎄 😊

Flaxseed oil would really elevate your carrot lox!
The ramen looks incredible🤤
Beyond sausage: definitely cooked best on pan.
Those cookies are Mexican wedding cookies!!😊😊
Tofu egg salad , Tomato basil pasta
Have you tried cooking them in onion gravy in the oven? 12:41
I paused the video to put carrots in the oven :)
