I am so glad Opal found her furever home and that she had you guys nearby to help her for a couple of days. Also, the food situation in a move is always so hard to balance. You don't want to eat out for every meal and yet you don't want food to go to waste. It is tough.

My mental health improved so much in the winters when I moved from the west coast to somewhere sunnier. It's really amazing how much the no sun thing can mess that up.
It's funny, sunny winters depress the heck out of me. That's what I hated about living in Colorado. I like it cloudy when snow is on the ground. I love the gray sky, sweater weather and the cool chill in the air that comes with fall and winter.
I made the pumpkin streusel muffins - so GOOD! Gave them to my non-vegan friends and they LOVED them too! I did up the spices a bit - but dang - am making another batch tomorrow! THANK YOU!

OMGness, I just got to this party and you two are the freaking cutest! Definitely made for each other. I've been working on my vegan journey for a minute. Bit by bit I remove things from my diet and add more nutritious things. I thought the sugar would be the killer but it's the dairy for me. I'm Puerto Rican and so far my favorite meal is Puerto Beans made with calabasa and chick peas. Ohh, delish. I feel like I'm mixing things that don't match but if they taste good and have the protein I need then it's a go. btw, I got here for some recipes because next week is grocery week. Thanks for uploading such lovely videos.

I can totally relate to eating while moving! My husband and I moved last week after 15 years in the same condo.....we didn't move far, same neighborhood, but as you are trying to empty the fridge, freezer & cupboards it gets creative! I moved from Sri Lanka. I understand the yearning for sunny weather all year long. But I adapted to my adult life here in the US. Good luck with your journey in Colorado. It is so sad the kittens were dumped. I am glad this one found a home. You guys were her heros for saving and giving her hope and comfort.
How sad that some of the kittens ended up getting hit by cars. I'm so grateful that at least one was shown compassion and was saved. Thank you for doing everything you did for her.
