Fallout 4 - Building at Finch Farm 01 (Main Gate Guard Tower and Corner House)

- This series covers the construction of my settlement at Finch Farm. Apart from Place Everywhere no settlement object mods were used, and only uses vanilla and DLC objects with some additional assets being spawned using Console Commands.
In the first part of the series I create the settlements main gate which is overlooked by a guard tower, along with a settler home in the corner of the settlement.

I'm playing through FO4 again and decided to rebuild the commonwealth without mods and have since binge watched your playlists and the inspiration is flowing! I was starting with Finch Farm and low and behold here comes a series! Can't wait!

I got so excited seeing this come out today! I've been exploring the fo4 build community and finding some smaller channels to get my Flaps-Fix in your absence, but its truly wonderful getting to see the Master at work. That corner house looks like a floorplan we haven't seen before. The main 2x1 with the outer half-caps is fairly standard at this point, but whats the plan for the long entryway? Gonna do couches along the sides, or is it going to be workspace? I find myself quite curious.
Gald to hear you enjoyed it, thanks! I been making an effort to try and vary my house designs a little for this build, and for the corner house I wanted a longer galley style kitchen leading to a larger living area 👍.

Great can't wait to see what you are going to do with the place ! do you plan on building on the overpass ? I know you can find mods to add those yellow elevators that lead to gunners hideout ! Anyway awesome as usual 💪

Still not a fan of overly large structures in my builds, but feel its not too out of place and still in keeping with the style I like to build in 😅.

Thanks! I plan out each settlement by building a rough version first and then rebuild it in sections for the build vids 👍

amazing as always! sorry to ask but does anyone know a work around for the place everywhere mod on nexus? ive managed to get almost all other mods working after downgrading the version of fo4 back to before the next gen update but place everywhere is buggered beyond all belief.
Thanks! I honestly think there must be a problem with your install, I am not aware of any workarounds and as you can see from the vid Place Everywhere works fine with the previous version of the game (1.10.163). Possibly you are trying to use the latest version of Place Everywhere (which is buggered and missing features 😔) with the previous version of the game?
Make sure you are using F4SE version 0.6.23 and version 1.18.0.1163 of Place Everywhere. The files section for Place Everywhere is a mess and have accidentally downloaded the wrong version before and then wondered why things were not working 😅👍.

how to open the green guard post?
It comes with the Vault-Tec Workshop DLC, you also need to complete the Vault 88 questline to be able to unlock building vault objects at regular settlements.
