Another great looking build! I am going to borrow some of the ideas you used here to create my own version of this tower at a new build at Outpost Zimonja.
@@danieldbdb thanks for watching, If your interested in starting to build I can assure you that you will put many more thousands of hours in the game. There's a video called '50 tips & tricks' by @orangesqueasy that will teach you better than I could. But most of this build was 'build order ', To place the metal pre-fab on top of the wood one, you need the wooden upper floor (the thick one) to do it . The bottom of the wood floor will snap to the roof of the wooden pre-fab while the floor of the metal pre-fab will snap to the top. It's a lot of fun building and experimenting, give it a go yourself 😁👍
i gotta ? Does the concrete pillar work better for the pillar glitch? I use the ones in the Warehouse Misc and it only seems to work like 60-70% of the time
@@ByTheSpirit84 I used to use the warehouse pillars all the time (I still use the small one occasionally) but I find the concrete one ( or the ball track supports) much better for a few reasons: 1. They don't snap to other things which drives me crazy when I'm trying to do wood floors etc. 2. You can group select objects from underneath ( e.g put a roof on the floor, raise it up with the pillar, then place the pillar underneath the roof then group select it) that's how I put roofs on scaffolding frames to make a market stall. 3. The 'nobbly" top of the warehouse pillar can't grab anything in group select and the bottom has to be all the way in the ground before you can sink the pillar while group selecting. 4. Warehouse pillars can't group select each other but concrete ones can. 5. Ball track supports work best at hangman's alley when all the rest are crap...........phew ! Hope this helps 👍
Pyrotechnics just don't last when it comes to weather control, I try to mod weather as much as I can just for this reason, even using "PC" console cheat to clear weather doesn't last.
@@Babyboomer_59 I can normally cheat the weather in far harbor by sleeping overnight then fire up a few weather shells, if that doesn't clear it , reload and repeat. That's how I get sunny weather for my settlement tours in FH but unfortunately it doesn't work at echo lake lumber 😪
@@bushwhackingprepper9162 hey bud, if your trying to do what I did with the fire/pillar glitch then it won't work if the ground your sinking in has two layers ( e.g a floor on top of a roof ) That's why I took the wooden pre-fab out first before I pillar glitched the lantern. Hope that helps 😁👍
He is building this creation on one of the DLC maps, ("far harbor" i believe) that area frequently has radiation storms/fog, there is a buildable "fog condenser" item with the DLC that can repel these storms. It looks like he has wired it up to a target that triggers when it senses its been hit and it sends a signal to the fog condenser to repel the storm.
Hey bud, thanks for watching, if you don't have any DLC's then I'm not surprised your thinking "what sorcery is this". It's a fireworks morter from the contraptions dlc (or wasteland workshop I can't remember) The target I'm shooting is a pulse switch. There are several ways of using the morter , you can wire it straight to the power source and place each clear weather shell in 1 at a time( bit annoying) or you can load it up with shells and (instead of wiring it directly to power source)attach it to one of several things(pressure plate,a timer or a pulse switch) and attach those items up to power. By shooting the target once it releases a split second of power that fires up 1 flare, tbh I should have gone with the timer on this vid. Hope this helps 😁👍

I gotta admit, I didn't understand a thing of what you did, but that sure looks cool. Got thousands of hours in this game.

what is up with the shooting? I fifigure its some mechanic I don't know. Got maybe about 10 hours in to the game.

Triggers the power to a launcher for weather changing shells. But the weather there REALLY wants to be a rad-storm.
