@@HYpr1337time mods........ to be more exact the better settlers lets your sellect your settlement to be like never attacked or always attacked and stuff
I know it’s been said before but this honestly is what the minute men quest-line in the base game should have been like. Imagine slowly building up settlement after settlement to gain a foothold in the commonwealth. All the while the raiders, gunners (and potentially institute) could have antagonistic characters and quests. Imagine defence missions where you have to defend a settlement like the castle against waves of gunners. Only to be followed up by an attack on a gunners base with minuteman soldiers in tow. They could even do assassination missions and espionage/ sabotage in a war of attrition like the legion v NCR in New Vegas. Tldr: awesome series man and I can’t wait to see the story expand. Plus I kinda wish we could all play through something similar.
I legit love these videos. Having the minutemen actually make a presence in the commonwealth is so cool to watch. And the builds are really good. If this is your first episode watching this series, I highly recommend watching the other episodes
I'm half expecting a bittersweet tail to unfold of the minutemen being ruined again from the institute and gunners leading to the entire faction having to flee to Vault 88 and running the operations from there. This series is easily one of my favourites and the building style is astounding, you give Bethesda a run for their money with your set design.
The story telling in this series is amazing. Also for those unscrappable items like debris around settlements there is a mod called “scrap everything” that allows you to scrap them :)
@@PeanutButterSandwich101 yeah but it also breaks precombines and seriously lags your game to almost unplayable levels if you scrap the wrong pile of junk or piece of trash on the ground
There are some debris piles which Scrap Everything can't scrap. Some you can't even remove with console commands. Unfortunately you have to build around them.
Honestly - can't imagine how much work this is, but I wish we got these every single day. Hands down best settlement building series. Made my evening seeing you had posted!!!
There’s so much clever editing in this video. Editing the building sounds to the beat of the music, changing the subtitles to playfully match the things being described, it’s amazing.
Binged your entire settlement building series last night and subscribed. Woke up this morning to see you posted this. Absolutely made my day. PLEASE keep making these 💚💚
This series is not only a high quality product, but it's in a niche while still having the pull of fallout. Glad i invested on the first episode, keep up the anazing work dude!!
Even though i love the Vanilla Experience, I decided to download your mod list, because i love ur building style, lifting up complexity of the settlements and their settlers needs, to make it a round up living area for the wastelands.
Not much. The Napoleonic battlefields were picked clean of Human and horse bones due to this. Yorkshire had steam-powered grinding mills built for it, and processed more than a million bushels of bones in 1821.
This series is amazing. Awesome settlements, overarching story, entertaining all the way through. Also, your editing on everything is beyond spectacular. The maps and graphics to tell the story, the camera angles, the building timed perfectly with the music, the amazing details in the subtitles. Everything is amazing!
I don’t know how fond you are of modding the game but consider TumbaJumba’s minutemen armor set because it gives them a seasoned, more diverse look in the commonwealth and would show maybe that some of the guns have returned with Ronnie Shaw
Only watched a couple videos but I love how you place an object to a beat. It’s extremely satisfying to listen to and then seeing the end product after all the work is awesome.
Incredible editing! Having fun with the subtitles, and getting everything in sync with the music - not just the building, but sometimes even the narration!
i'm HOOKED on this series, the editing, the story, the beautiful builds!! really makes you appreciate the game all over again, and highlights the best bits of a minutemen playthrough. so excited for the new ep!!
beem following this rebuilding series since the start and each episode i love it more! i always love to build settlements with head-lore and reasoning behind, its so much more fun, and seeing someone make a full on high quality series on it, its a dream come true!
Only one issue in the background info: Quincy wasn’t under the direct protection of a minuteman group, which is what the “under the protection of the minutemen” with an image of that specific building implied. The group sent there was sent because Quincy had caught wind that the gunners were coming with a bigger force. That’s the mayor’s house, who gave it to Hollis’ group as lodging for as long as they were there. Edit: second issue, Clint isn’t the leader of the Gunners in the area, he’s higher rank than most and the Minuteman turncoat that lead to their victory, but Tessa in the police station is in charge of the group
You are a very good builder AND your storytelling is superb... Is there no end to your talents. I mean seriously, your storytelling is not just in the narration throughout the video. But you also place wonderful environmental storytelling elements into each and every build as well. Love your work!!!
Beautiful build, I especially love the living quarters for the og Quincy squad, they have so much personality! Mama Murphy's with the greenhouse, so pretty. And the ending is crazy, the tone is very set and im excited for the next part!
Honestly for world building you do amazingly well, maybe add small outposts/forts along key roads and areas between the settlements, gives a sense of protection and promised safety
This is an Amazing Playthrough! 1 Idea you could build at drumlin diner and make it operational again and graves for trudy to continue her legacy for helping the minutemen
The fact that there was literally nothing done with Quincy in FO4’s base game is genuinely one of the biggest missed opportunities (at least in regards to the Minutemen) so seeing this is just incredible. Brilliant work as always, looking forward to the next one!
One of the things that, I genuinely really, really love about this series is that, it's... not like, the peak of efficiency. It's a well designed and planned city, but with, just the little things that make me feel like it was developed organically as people were going. Like, the workshop and the chirurgeons on the roof feels, like people'd have to run all the way up there and getting injured minutemen could be difficult, but that, honestly adds to it. We aren't watching expert architects and city planners, we're watching millitiamen and wastelanders building civilization back, and doing a good titandamned job of it.
Astonishing work as always! The cliffhanger at the end really hyped me up for the next part, can't wait to see it! p.s. About the village's name, how about "ParkLot"? You know, like Novac got it's name from No Vacancy sign, yeh?
I love the series man, its really cool. I think a fan of yours made a modpack for FO4 on nexus with the mods in the docs, so i might go play FO4 with it and follow the videos!
this series is inspiring me to go back to my fallout 4 world with a buncha quality of life mods and visual upgrades, record it all for a timelapse, and upload it.
This series’s is the best, interesting world building and events, history, character development and…*we work so hard to build a little house together* 11/10
Can we talk about the unsong hero JUN he in the greatest moments from the beginning held the line with fire support and even help taking and defending most of the settlements. A true hero.
Love the way you think out loud in this video and the editing ofc, the buildings look really nice and realistic. One note, “the parking lot village” doesn’t really roll of the tongue, why not just call it “the lot”.
Cant wait for the Gunner counter-attack in the next episode! I doubt the Gunners would let such a strategically important location fall without contention, so it'd be cool to see them attempt a retake with this sort of beautiful cinematography. Mayhaps an aftershot of the battle showing minutemen using the facilities built in this episode, i.e. the surgery center, pharmacy, and weaponry store. Overall, fantastic, would watch again
Man these are satisfying, wish the game would acknowledge these, save quincy, the thing that broke the minutemen? Barely a peep... You've got taste mate, nice work :D
Man I don't know what black magic Bethesda used, but the settlement building feels incredibly satisfying your builds are so immersive, my brain takes a hit of jet every time you show end results 😻
this wuld be so cool as a mod , just having the entire commonwealth rebuilt , or just in general being able to see your creations ingame wuld be awsome. this honestly inspires me to go back to fallout 4 and try to do these things like you little disclaimer for whatever reason i sadly cant get the fallout 4 script extender installed cause it wont pop up as the right file and neither if it will itll say its the wrong version even tho its the newest one up to date. meaning i only have the CVC mod and not the place everywhere but stihl. i love your work man keep it up
16:00 the surgical center should be somewhere where someone can easily be rushed to in an emergency. Having to climb all the way up to the overpass will waste precious time
Honestly id love to see your take on a Hangmans Alley Outpost, its often so underutilized by people and id love to see your take on some kind of outpost there especially due to how strategically located it is and how it might serve as a rest-stop amidst the constant fighting of the ruins of the old Boston urban sprawl. Somewhere for both minutemen, traders, and general travelers to stop at with at least some minor level of safety.
Quincy absolutely should have been a major minutemen quest, a buildable settlement, and its liberation complimented by dialog from Garvey and the other survivors of the massacre, and the only way to become General of the Minutemen.
The single greatest settlement building series in existence. Not only are the settlements absolutely beautiful, but the story telling is top notch
its a bit limited by being inside fallout 4 as a story, as the first gunner raid on starlight didnt really feel that threatening
@@HYpr1337time No
I like this series, as it stays within a more vanilla based theme while making the minutemen more powerful, and without any overhauls too.

I didn't expect the high quality machinima when I clicked on this, but I'm not disappointed. Gonna watch more of your videos now, great job man
I just got back to this video watching the rest of the series. Fucking quality stuff brother
