MEATLOAF
Two eggs, 2/3 cup of milk, 2 teaspoons of salt, a quarter teaspoon of pepper, three slices of bread, crumbled, 1/2 of an onion chopped, 1/4 cup of shredded raw carrot, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef. Mix all together.
Mix 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and 1 TB of yellow mustard together and spread on top of the meatloaf bake at 3:0 for about an hour and a half.

You live such a beautiful life filled with family and treasured friends. You are so deserving , as you celebrate the simple things in life. Your joy and enthusiasm in a gorgeous day, a great meal, a day spent with friends warms my heart. I hope the Lord continues to hug you tightly and your desires and needs are realized. I love meatloaf and in the winter i glaze my top with a mixture of whole cranberry sauce , a little brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of Karo syrup. Its a nice sweet flavor with the savory meatloaf.
Comfort food! Gosh…a nice slow cooker pot roast, with carrots, potatoes and homemade sourdough bread! Love your content Karen! It’s like a warm hug, especially when you get into the seasonal videos as we have no true “weather” to speak of in San Diego. 😊

Your hair cut looks so beautiful. I love the length. You are so thoughtful having your two moms come over every Sunday. Great memories. My husband and I worked in the yard today as well. We trimmed all the shrubs, cut the grass to get ready for the next season. I have been thinking of ways on how to change up my Christmas decorations. Last year I did navy blue and silver. Happy Sunday Karen!! I make my meatloaf exactly as you make yours. I love the catsup/brown sugar glaze on top. It adds so much extra flavor to the meatloaf. I feel like I should be starting to decorate for Christmas already. I've had my fall decor up since the end of August. I always get excited at this time of year. Have a great week and GO BUCKS!!!

Hi Karen, your hair always looks so nice. I need to get the root cover up that you mentioned not too long ago. I get my hair done every 5 weeks even though the grays start coming in after 3 weeks!!. I guess that’s a good sign my hair is still growing 😆. It’s just so expensive here in San Diego to have it done more often😮. I love your outings and seeing the leaves change. Hi Karen! David and I finally made it to White House Farm yesterday! It was really crowded because of the festival. We got some pumpkins, had lunch, bought a few pieces of fall decor in the gift shop, and ran into a friend of mine! We plan to go again when it’s all ready for Christmas. We drove over the bridge of Lake Milton! Could have met you at the winery! Enjoy the weather in the upcoming week!

What do you do with your past Christmas decorations? I know you buy new mostly every year🎄
I add to my current decor.. though last year I did get new trees. I recycle. I may not use something this year, but then I will the year after. I also let our daughters take whatever I'm not using to decorate their homes. They love going through my stuff! Plus I take my extra decor to decorate my mom's place! ❤️
i live in so Cal, our place is too close to a busy st to sleep with windows open. it is a country town but not far out enough. i love to open the windows if it is nice out. " Comfort food" 🍜🍝🧆
