this and using nair hitbox to clank with t-jolt hitbox it's even better because you can move while in the air and can also beat Rats'fair sinc greninja air speed is far better
This literally only helps greninja players… If I jump they read me like you said, if I shield or get hit they grab me, and if I jump away they just spam more t jolt. What do I do?!
Not to be rude, but if you believe that this video and others like it "literally only helps greninja players," you're being incredibly closed minded as a player. Any character can mix up between jumping backwards, approaching, clanking, shielding, parrying, or limiting Thunder Jolt's effectiveness by standing on a platform. The same way that Greninja's Substitute isn't a guaranteed answer to Thunder Jolt, these other methods of counterplay simply add to your options against the move. At the end of the day, Smash Ultimate is a glorified game of Rock Paper Scissors, and knowing all of your options is only going to help you improve as a player.
Huh, I never realized that down substitute always spawns a log. This has lots of applications in other projectile-heavy matchups to block them!
Doing frog god work, thank your mr apolotion
