@MDreeezy just love your Ren reactions and you question of the day you make us think ,,, you are a wise young gentleman with a big heart thank you ,,, sending love to all 💕..Bev
I feel that it's about loosing yourself to a sickness, to depression. When you have had mental illness for years, you can lose the sense of you and become the illness, instead of a person with a illness. And for me the text, except the end, is about the mindset of a suicidal person, his friend before he took his life. Himself in his bleakest moments. I can relate to this.
You sound like an old soul, wise beyond your years. Yes, self-identity is something most of us struggle with, often defining ourselves in a negative or limiting way. I think that Ren's original definition of himself was stripped away by his dark experiences--Joe's passing, Ren's illness, his parents' divorce--to the point where he had to redefine himself in a healthy way in order to survive and thrive despite his circumstances. As he said in the song, Power, he focused on himself and truly discovered the wide range of his talents and strengths, which is what we're seeing now. I and many others have taken that as an inspiration for our own self-growth. Thanks again for the great reaction!🤠
@mdreezy love your Reactions this one is pure Love. Love to see you do introduceing Ren to others in your Generation. That would be such a Positive Flow into their Future. To be Shown a Humble Man Who Gives the Gift of Art and UNDERSTANDING in all Facets of Life. ❤ Your such a Great Young Gentleman ❤
You’re the only one I’ve heard who connected that line in Genesis to this song. I had thought to that too. I’m sure lots of others picked up on that as well but I haven’t heard a reactor catch it. Nice job👍
Time and trauma can change who you are. You can look back at who you were; but, how do you go back. That you, doesn't exist any more. The touchstones have changed.
I wish you would wear headphones..... Just sayin' I PROMISE you will get even more out of the music you react to. (For example, it's a SMALL thing, but you would have heard ren say "one two three, one two three" at the start. I only bring that up, because we could tell you thought there was no sound at that point.
SELF IDENTITY!
Self identity? This is our problem. Our identity is in our Creator. This we must recognise in order to stop our own suffering. Self is destructive.🔴
This is such a beautiful song that hits hard. Another fantastic reaction ❤❤

Ren is a gift to humanity
That was Absolutely Beautiful. 👏👏👏👏
Yes it was!!
I think we can all relate to this song in some way, as most of us have forgotten how to be ourselves at one point or another. 💜💜

He describes it so well when you feel like you've lost yourself...
This touches my soul
Unbelievable talent, thanks fer reaction dude😊
They filmed this on the bridge that their friend Joe jumped from - he has a song for Joe but also talks about him at the end of Su!cide
This was filmed on a rooftop in Brighton, not on the Menai Bridge. Please help us to stop the repetition of this unfounded rumor. ❤
❤❤❤❤
They're great no matter what they are singing. Try Jake Kohn or a video titled," white kid singing the blues like nobody's business.
I love these two together. Great reaction, as always!
Thank you!! 😁
❤❤❤❤❤😢
More context here, this video was shot on the same bridge from which Joe jumped...RIP Joe.
Not true; it was filmed in Brighton. Please do not spread this rumor, and help us stop others from repeating it.
