    I've got some things to add to the quite informative video:
    (Lot of text)
    -Get the items that provide benefits BEFORE doing the training grind. Barrows gloves? Fire cape? Ava's accumulator? So on. They're useful outside PvP situations too. You don't want to train 200 hours of strength before getting the Fire Cape(over that timespan it would probably save more time than what the cave took even if it did take 2-3 attempts). Be smart.
    -Quest all combat xp you can to have every possible thing unlocked once you're finished! With skills like attack and defence it's pretty straightforward and common knowledge but this also applies to prayer for example.
    -Experiments are decent place to train at, 100hp per monster(25cmb) compared to yaks/crabs/sand crabs (50,50,60hp).
    -If you can't afford spec restoration pool, you can just teleport to clan wars, hop inside the portal and then leave with whatever means you wish to use, everything will be restored.
    -Clan Wars/Duel arena is great way to practice without losing anything apart supplies. Ideally you'd want to practice against people of varying skill, equal skill would be nice however practicing against better player might provide more insight to what works and what doesn't. Also you can test max hits/effectiviness of certain outfits/inventories without risk. Spend at least SOME time here so you won't be complete cannon fodder when you step in PvP/wilderness
    -Summer pies are very cost-effective food, and they can be eaten continuously(just like any pies or pizzas)and used as a combo food but with one tick delay before main combo food(i.e. shark)can be eaten.
    -For starting pker with RFD done: Rune gloves are way cheaper than barrows gloves and provide nearly identical stats.
    -Have open attitude. You might find unusual workarounds in situations where something is usually done in one way and not another. You can use anything in the game to your advantage.
    -If you pk a lot set up your bank so that you can quickly access the items you need to gear up. For example if you pk in edge alot in certain gear put those on top of the bank.
    -If you don't use brews(which I wouldn't recommend because there are other cheaper combo foods available)you may want to pot up in bank and withdraw more food. Not only can you fight for longer and possibly create more opportunities to knockout but you'll also avoid risking unnecessary potions. Or if you wish to carry the pots on you anyways then bring 1 or 2 dose, without brews you'll never use full potion without banking in-between.

    Hey torv! you should do another pking video where you walk through your thought process to a slow-moed fight. The hardest part is not knowing the gear to use but knowing what you should be doing or expecting next! Loved the vid keep it up

    • @JustHereForTheDialogue
      @JustHereForTheDialogue 3 года назад +3

      @@hazelXin223 gotta start somewhere. Yeah just say fuck it dude. Make a low level obby
      Mauler or something so you have less you gotta focus on to start. You can always branch out to more complicated builds and tactics after. Most important thing to remember is to not take it so seriously as at the end of the day if you don’t hit the dice roll you probably lost. Just focus on improvement and treat loot as a bonus.

    • @joebillingsley7252
      @joebillingsley7252 2 года назад

      @@JustHereForTheDialogue as someone who just wants 1 account for now and to just play the game and level and grind what kinda pk build would I be doing? I don’t wanna restrict myself to not leveling skills just for a pk type

    • @JustHereForTheDialogue
      @JustHereForTheDialogue 2 года назад +3

      @@joebillingsley7252 if you want zero restrictions you can go for a max main. The thing is with any account build you are gonna be limited in some way due to having to manage your combat level to stay in your bracket. That’s why you see things like range, mage, and various melee pures. You sorta just gotta pick what combat bracket you wanna be in and then decide what attack styles are the most used and effective at that level. Then you can decide what sorta build those choices will allow for such as a specific type of pure, zerker, void ranger, etc.
      For you it sounds like you just wanna enjoy RuneScape but also ok and at that point I would just make a main and get into learning tribriding. This entails more complicated tactics and a better understanding of PvP in general but it also gives you the most freedom in skilling and questing. What a lotta people will do is make lower-mid level builds to start ok’ing whenever but keep in mind you can turn any account into a main whenever you want. So say you make a zerker or something and decide you wanna further your progress as far as skilling and questing you could turn him into a med level and from there to a main.
      Ima be honest I’m far from an expert in account builds as I only have a few myself and most of my knowledge of the topic surrounds them specifically. I hope this at least helps in someway but I do suggest you do further research about the pros and cons of various brackets and the builds associated with them. Making an account can be a serious time commitment and I’d hate for you to put the work in and end up disappointed with the result.

    I can't kill the rats on tutorial island, finally a video that can help me out. I've been there for months.

    ngl I watched enough of your videos in the past few days that now I'm working on a pking account and I haven't played in 12 years, however I'm doing my homework so I'm not clueless. I like your "The account I forgot I had" 94 mage revival, I watched it a few times to help me get into the game a little bit.
