Maintaining my Ip24 Beach boat , Simple boat maintenance tips that might help! and what to keep an eye on when buying a old boat. Bits you take for granted and bits that sometimes never get maintained could save you lots of money its true what they say owning a boat is like having a hole in your pocket but would not be without mine and boats are not cheap, But good maintenance will save you money and cut down on the breakdowns on the beach and at sea simple things like batteries, alternators, and good wiring the amount of boats I've worked on with household steel wire that goes black then rots

I have an IP24 fitted with a Perkins 4108 great boats.

They are a solid boat i will wait until march then start work on it again needs a repaint and deck floor painting again it took a battering in the simmer what year is yours

I've owned it for just over a year I was told 1990, I bought it from southend it took me 14 hrs to Steam her back to Lowestoft though the night lovely boats.

its a small world i bought mine from southend and brought to hastings on a lowloader where i had the keel and bilge keels done for beach launching they are not the fastest boats but a great sea boat good luck
