Do you have a Blendjet 2? If so, which color? If you liked this unboxing of the Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System://ruclips.net/video/YWXoFhFO-uI/видео.html
There are two design features on all these small appliances which are crucial; the mode-switching button mechanism and the motor crankshaft bearings. Only the test of time will tell. But I find this true on ALL appliances, large and small. I recently had to replace my ~20y/o Kenmore refrigerator. An experienced service man told me the failure mode was unreparable and warned me to avoid the new high-end refrigerators with lots of bells and whistles (due to poorly designed earrly-failing circuit board failures) and that of course no new frig was going to last 20yrs - do we call this progress? - so I bought the cheapest model of the new brand (Frigidaire) I could find . It's design features are not as user-friendly as those the old frig - change for the sake of change rather than for the sake of improvement - someone thought they had a better idea - oh well, wish me luck. Great review so far btw!
Yeah... I tend to agree with ya... More features is fun, but it's also more to go wrong and compounds the likelihood that it will at some point.... After the warranty is up.
I never had so many smoothies before thanks to my blendjet. It's surprisingly strong enough to break up ice, the only downside is that it seems to require a pretty liquidy smoothie. I also started to use it to make quick salad dressings, but then it starred to smell garlicy so I've stopped lol.

Lol... Noted! We are gonna be comparing that one to the Ninja Blast here shortly.... So be interesting.
👍🏻
joe you can do ice
Didn't really try bare ice on it since that causes fits for a lot of full sized blenders... Probably should have tried it out anyway though.
I love my Blendjet.
It's a pretty cool little blender so far!
I love my vitamix a2500
