want some advise? shitcan those flimsy soft silicone hoses and buy 2 packs of orange colored 3/16" id silicone air proving switch hose at your local Johnstone. i had 2 rips in those hoses in less than one week. the orange hose is much more durable and tougher to rip. get 2. 3/16" barb fittings at the hardware store. the original hoses suck and Fieldpiece has been made aware of this potentially very dangerous situation!

My new sdmn6 doesn't have a nice 3v3n pressure input on the screen. The numbers jump around. Maybe I'm missing a averaging setting?

the sdmn6 shows the total static pressure on the bottom reading.

So for Natural Gas P1 goes to inlet and P2 goes to manifold and manifold pressure should be 3.5 wc?

Enzo Amore check the furnace literature or model number tag for manifold pressure on your specific unit. 3.5 is very common but not always the case.

would like to know more about what side do you have the gas pressure hooked up P1 or p2 and which side is the manifold side P1 or P2

+jas van p2 is the gas inlet and p1 is the gas output to the burners becuse that's what you need to adjust the pressure, natural gas will be 3,5 W.C. in a single stage or regular gas valve, he is using LP gas tha's why the pressure is diferent but in a house with natural gas you wil have around 7.5 W.C. inlet and the outlet is 3.5 W.C.

L.p doesn’t mean liquid propane.. because you can’t have liquid in your furnace!!
It’s l.p stands for liquid petroleum

Why not he did it so he could test 2nd stage he added jumper w1 to w2 temporarily so he didn’t have to wait 8 to 10 minutes for 2nd stage to come on sounds like your not a technician
