I was one of the first people to play the game about 9 months ago and its come such a long way! It looks great so far and its so early in production!
I think that this game is the step forward into vr shooters that we needed
I am blessed to have good creators that take intervals so I can watch good content everyday. Thanks for being one of them.
I remember seeing this game on thrill’s channel a little bit ago, cool to see it evolving more
You’ve become one of my favorite people to watch on yt tbh
I appreciate that you refused the sponsorship, I've been looking for an unbiased take on this game, and I couldn't get it because aexlab had sponsored all the other VR channels I watch, so thanks.
I hadn't heard about the nft thing, I'd rather they weren't in it, it kinda makes me think that they are going to make cosmetic nft items, that will end up taking priority over the development of the game in the years to come, I hope I'm wrong.
Fully agreed
Sponsorships are not bad but man can they skew perspectives
regarding nfts, don't worry, they have no plans for any more nfts. they just needed funding and found nfts as a better option then meta or bankruptcy
Yeah, this is the thing I'm not liking about Vail the most. It's not that fun to me, it feels really bare bones and uninteresting, the novelty of the whole thing wore off after not long playing, but all the people they're paying to hype it up as the best VR shooter, when it's really feels like something pretty niche. It's really odd.
5:09 is every pavlov match for me. Its one of the most surreal feelings.
Yo I’m a huge fan! I’m so glad you watch habie he’s such a good creator. Hope your knife vr game goes well!
This has nothing to do with the majority of the video but genuinely I enjoy the smooth brain sections because they still make me laugh. Specifically the "they're communicating" and " " bits. Keep up the good work and your videos will never not be entertaining
One of the only times I have directly downloaded a game because of a content creator. Your style of Content just makes me WANT TO PLAY
Im so happy you finally came and played vail finally!! And dont worry, ill treat all the smooth brains as well as i can. Probably kill them in game, but quickly! Without much pain.
Personally, I admire that you refused to take a sponsorship despite the fact that you were going to play it anyways, makes the review way more sincere
On the one hand, nft's, on the other hand, really good looking weapons and gunplay. Why must life be so hard
Your assessment of the word "NFT" is spot on, because the second I heard it my thoughts went from "maybe" to "NOPE" and then back to "maybe"
Habie should do a hyper smooth brain reading but with no music, no reverb, just him in silence(maybe with a fan) reading it.
Yo habie,
I've watched you from before your hundreds of thousands of viewers and you do something special, I watch your every upload and you are an entertainer and just keep doing what you're doing, I state this before I watch this video and I hope you see this but that's unlikely.
Your edits and commentary are like no one else and I hope you keep going for a long time yet.
P.s I'm bevved but you're a legend
Very cool to put those people that recognized you in the video, but not talk in game to preserve the mystic for a bit, only so they can have a holy shit moment later! Thanks for the great weekly uploads man~
I needed to hear something Positive right now, and hearing you talk about how good something is with the enthusiasm you have in your voice really helped. Thank you.
The integrity on this man is insane
Finally the epic Vail vr content you promised. I'm so happy
CS:GO graphics are quite nice in my opinion. Everything is visible and clear and you can tell what everything is because of it. Other than that I loved the video Habie, I’m going to have to check this out.
until they added player skins. the pro games arent bad, because they dont use them, but green on green and white on white skins/maps are kinda common.
From my perspective, I am genuinely so grateful that this video isn’t sponsored by the game, the video is so much better for it, subjectively speaking. But I would definitely be fine with you doing non-video-related sponsorships like VPNs or website brands etc etc
"NFTs aren't intrinsically bad" Citation Needed
Edit: The game does look interesting, and VR eSports could lead to further VR saturation, which would be nice.
You need a citation for why a verification protocol isnt intrinsically bad?
As someone who knows two of the devs, Thank you, This review is amazing and I loved it.
Glad you made this video, I haven't heard anyone else talk about AEX Lab's NFT program. Really sad to see but at least I know who to not give money to.
I respect that you don't do sponsorships alot.i would still watch because your honest and seem sincere.love your videos
Now way he made a k.. joke 5:52
I don’t get it
Bro now i can finally stop landing #1 in pavlov lobbies and do professional vrfps tournaments thank you fellow smoothbrain
Here's hoping more VR games get handling like this.
Minus the NFT part
I subscribed just because you are a dream to listen to. You have a relaxing voice and a lovely, positive personality! Sometimes I watch the video, and sometimes I replay the video and simply listen to you enjoying the games!
I was going to give it a try until I heard of the NFT thing. Fuck that shit on principle alone.
Watched your into the radius streams and now I'm officially addicted to the game. Thx for the awesome content.
Habie: points gun at earth
Me: SHOOT IT
Habie: shoots it
Me: AGAIN
i remember the 8k days your videos have put a smile on my face and made the time fly by i hope u get way past half a million
Hey Habie, I’m a vr game dev and I’ve been working on a game for the past two years I think you’ll like. It’s called Oust and should be available on the oculus store in a few months. I would love to see you play it, and if you’re interested I would be happy to give you a free key for the game.
idk if replying to comments gets them more attention but I hope he sees this, dude o:
He's said before he can't record on Oculus games, only PCVR.
@densoro thanks man!
Yeah does oculus rift count as pcvr? My game should be available there too.
@@bradb5129 Never used oculus, not sure how the crossover works, but yes he _can_ at least play it. He might not be able to make a video on it though.
Habie, i think why i like you so much and maybe why so many others do is because when you talk it feels like my friend that I’ve known for years is just telling me about a time when they had fun, not doing what’s popular, or what makes money but your just general fun, and as a fan it bring me joy to hear you having fun its why i wanna watch. Anyways keep up the amazing videos hope to play with you soon
If a game has NFT then it does not deserve it's popularity. Full NFT ban or boycott
"NFTs aren't intrinsically bad". Yes they are. I didn't know this game had anything to do with them, and that lowers my opinion of it substantially.
The NFTs were used to support the initial funding and development so AEXLAB could stay independent from large corporations.
They are not in the game and have not been advertised for a long time now.
@@TooterbooterWhy do you think "to raise money" makes it better? That's EXACTLY the problem. At BEST you are suckering someone out of their money promising some "valuable" artificial scarcity string of bits. That suck up REAL WORLD energy for no damn reason other than to prove no one else "owns" that exact same string of bits.
At best they joined what they thought was a popular fad as an easy way to make money. At worst, they deliberately swindled people by encouraging the idea that they were making an "investment" into something that they can get a return on, instead of the reality of they were buying horse armor.
appreciate all the extra effort you put into the voice over this video :)
I was gonna try it but instantly lost all interest as soon as NFTs were mentioned.
Thanks pal
Today was a bad day for me,but you always manage to make me laugh and remind me that one day,I absolutely must grab a vr
Thank ya
Maybe a sponsorship wasn't a good idea considering they're knee deep in NFT stuff, but I don't really know your views on that stuff
That was to support initial funding.
The NFTs have not been advertised in a long time and are not in-game save for a reference in the armory.
it wasn't a sponsorship, as he said multiple times in the video
whatever happened to this game
uhmmmm
The vail community and I would probably want to say “❤” aight that’s it
neah, not so great, Contractors is the best among all, Vail is mostly hype, the performance is terrible for a so-called esports title. I really wish they can make it better... will see in the final release
Vail is "competitive" until the moment the big tournament ends. People will not be playing this game in any meaningful numbers. It was supposed to release for everyone over 2 months ago, after 5 years of work. This game is borderline scam.
@@SINfromPL Hey there, you have borderline probably not played the game.
@@AEXLAB I've played it since i got a key a year ago. So update us all here when the game is playable for everyone cause that was supposed to happen over 2 months ago despite your hard payments to RUclipsrs to promote it
@@AEXLAB it's been 4 hours. i replied to your comment under 5 minutes. sounds like YOU have a case of BORDERLINE personality, REDIRECTING ALL AND EVERY SINGLE DISCUSSION TO YOUR OWN DISCORD WHERE YOU BAN PEOPLE TO YORU OWN LIKING INSTAED OF ACTUALLY ENGAGING WITH THE PUBLIC OUTSIDE YOUR SAFE SPACE
Just got the Smoothbrain skinpack. Looks sick!
should be free game, dead already
it was dead a week into launch
love ya habie. Your videos always brighten my day. It's easy to tell you're a decent person. Congrats on almost half a mil you deserve it.
Woke up 5min ago, saw that habie uploaded, day already better.
Godking Emperor Smooth finally made a video about this gem of a VR shooter. Much Pog. Hail Habie
Oh shit, is that THEE SOUL BC?!????
@@ripsactual Is that THE Rips Actual?!
@@SoulBC it might be tho
Your channel makes me excited about video games again.
if I ever get a powerful enough pc/VR, this channel will if not already is my gateway to it. also lets get that scary number grow bigger
bro please take a sponsorship, your content is worth it.
Your approach to not taking sponsors is impressive, but you deserve the rewards! Just don’t change your videos :)
Somehow, you’ve managed to make me annoyed I didn’t immediately play vail when it showed up in my library. Because this looks freaking amazing
thank you for the vail video, have been waiting for this lol.
Shoutout to t-pain yo, for anybody whose wondering what he’s been doing he still makes music and drifts cars now. He’s pretty good at it too
Love the content man! I always feel so relaxed after watching one of your vidoes.
Hi habie! Thanks for another great video! I love that you high fived the guy before he exploded
The second you mentioned H3 I was on board 100%. I'm absolutely buying this game.
...once my VR setup stops being broken. FU-
Dude Habie take that bag!! We love you and we want you to feed yourself and have nice things!!!
6:10 a little smoothbrain advice, to knock out a mag with another mag you have to actually strike the mag release paddle, so you should aim a little higher
In most VR games you can just tap the mag, but this game’s going for realism, and irl mags aren’t designed to just pop out with a random nudge. It’ll still let you do it, but it’s inconsistent for a reason
