I completely forgot to mention that, thanks for pointing that out. Its tragic to see that the protagonist of the series didn't manage to make it back into the reboot. I guess we just have to wait and see if she appears in as DLC.
She didn’t make it in bc TL isn’t a Melty Blood reboot. It’s a spin off of the tsukihime remake. Also, Lumina takes place BEFORE the visual novel, while Melty always place after. So, if we wait for a sequel that takes place AFTER the tsukihime remake, we might get Sion. She might look cursed in the new “everybody looks very similar” art style tho. I mean really, if it weren’t for the different clothes, hair styles, and voices, it might actually be hard to tell the difference.
Fun Fact: Relating to Type Lumina. Arc Drives being accessible with 3 stocks haven't been in the franchise since Melty Blood 1 and the TL shield system takes elements from base ReAct when they implemented shield launchers and shield backsteal.
It's a pretty fun with a lot of variety. The two most active are Melty Blood Type Lumina and Melty Blood Actress Again Current Code (Community Edition).
Frecnh Bread always wanted to make new Melty Blood and new Fate fighting game, and wanted Saber into playable character in they own game by Kemone words from new Type-Moon Times Volume. They made a lot of assets (like Fate characters and etc) for this and went to Nasu and Type-Moon with all sorts of ideas. They did it right in the time of TsukiR, so Type-Moon give them OK to make new Melty Blood and that's how MBTL and MBTL Boss Rash mode came to be with its own scenario also written by Nasu.
The history behind these types of projects are always so interesting. I hope this means they plan on making a form of Fate fighting game sometime, there is so much potential for a more modern version of F/UC. Saber making it in is pretty exciting. Her gameplay video kind of reminded me of F/UC, so I wonder how effective she is going to be within actual combat. Can't wait to finally play it tomorrow!
I wish French Bread made a collection with all the old Melty games all the way through Current Code. Specially since the first couple games were never available on consoles.
Thanks for this neneisan. I'm sure tons of people are gonna know the lore eventually and I am cringing at fgc streamers reacting to bad lore videos that dont explain much about anything regarding the history
@@MrInuhanyou123 My pleasure! With the attention Melty has been getting recently, there are going to be a lot of people who don't know what Tsukihime is. I understand not being able to or wanting to go back and play the older games in the series to understand it. Especially given the lack localizations. I love talking about Type Moon, and if it can benefit others and help introduce them to this universe, I'm more than happy to spend my time on making these! I've seen a few of those videos you're talking about. They seem to just extremely simplify the more serious nature of the plot to make it look ridiculous. Yes, everything after Melty Blood's story mode is a sequel to it. Re-Act's Arcade story takes place one year after. Final Tuned only contained gameplay changes. Act Cadenza is pretty much the same as Re-Act, with the exception of the new character's scenarios.

@@NeNeiSan Thanks for the reply. If you think about it it’s like the original tsukihime manga. Added scenes are used to benefit the story, but to know everything you have to experience the full story of the original.
