This game has reached a "I'll think about writing fanfiction" status to me. It's criminally, and I mean CRIMINALLY underrated. I look at hazbin hotel and FMDM and shake my head. Like, I wonder what grown-up post hero route Ichijou would do if she met chapter 5 flashback Kageaki? Like, the Konjin messed something up for this to happen. Idk I can't write these characters well.

The Land of Steel is an interesting setting. The land is more ecologically desolate than even the most toxic cesspool of our time, the planet itself decays to nothing as it’s mystical effluvium ruins the atmosphere, neohumans so far removed from what they once were fight amongst each other, all the while alien super-deities come to cleanse what little life remains. This sounds like a really cool Lostbelt idea.

Gosh your Umi stuff is worthy of so much more recognition. Love the editing and music choice, on top of phenomenal script and its execution.

Wait a minute there is a video game, I thought it was just an anime that I am just now watching, just finished part where Makoto is gone and I must say as a grown ass man I shed tears plus this is my first anime ever so I will remember it for the rest of my life ❤ It is a bit dated but packs an emotional response to me.

thank you for trying out the rance series as it is a bit of an underground following, especially since it has an incredible world building and deep character writing. this series tells a unique spin on rpg stories where you dont play as a typical honorable good guy who want to save the world, the rance games will tell stories for adults, it will show you what happens when monsters attack a village and the hero doesnt show up. its that kind of game. also each game in the series has a different genre of gameplay so its never stale like rance VI is a rpg with 2d scroll world movement then rance VII is grand strategy with multiple endings and a skirmish mode rance VIII is 3d classic rpg think old final fantasy games then rance IX is tactics rpg like fire emblem and xcom

While I haven't quite dipped my toes into the Type-Monn franchsie yet (beyond the Fate anime adaptations and starting Tsukihime a while ago), it is interesting to hear everything going on. I def wanna read Maho if nothing else before the movie comes out cuz I'm def gonna want to see it, but I prefer reading the source material before seeing any adaptations when I can

Nasu's works have some of the greatest ever written and have profoundly affected my life, especially the Tsukihime Remake. I got into Type Moon early 2023 and well I am a bit frustrated by all the waiting but I hope Type Moon gets going again.

Absolute immaculate video. I loved your interpretations of the story and how you tackled primarily Angie’s Story. I feel a lot of people don’t really give Angie’s story as much credit as it deserves with how well done it is. IMO, Umineko is her story of learning to move on and live with the family in her heart even if accepting that they’re dead. Battler and Beatrice story is just as important but it was all to push Angie down a path of healing and realizing that what the masses believe of her family is not the one truth. She knows her family wasn’t just evil, they where also good, they are humans after all complex creatures and her realizing that by the end makes me so happy

3:45 I think this is also problem with FSN adaptation, because it doesn't have the inner monologue the watcher does not know that shirou is internally a very snarky person

my biggest hope for 2025 is that not only do we learn when in 2025 that FATE EXTRA RECORD (which i hope is VERY Soon) but we can get an official demo that we fans can personally play as we wait for it. for me who never had a PSP and the original Fate Extra, i'm personally excited to get it cause waiting for this game has been hard. also, hope we get a DLC for this game that gives us a Berserker, Assassin or Lancer Class Servant

Happiest news of the year but hey I’m just happy I got some more type moon stuff personally but I’ve basically only started some of the Visual Novels like tsukihime and fate/stay night though I’ve finished those but hey still glad to see more stuff More fate extra let’s go!

This might be overtly negative but this year felt like a nothing year for TM fans, unless you play FGO, but for those who adamantly hate FGO, it must have added more fuel to their hate, the problem being that, TM finally released all the main line Visual Novels, but that didn’t build up those fan bases or migrated them to a new fanbase, but instead it just dogged pilled hate on FGO because there was nothing for VN fans after they were done. No Red Garden or Mahoyo 2c instead all resources were on FGO and everyone hated it, also Nasu, has a problem of just not letting go of FGO.

This year is when i finally bit the bullet and made the great decision to try out Fate/Stay Night (i literally beat Heavens Feel today) and also the great mistake(?) that is downloading Fate GO (the character designs looked cool ok ;-;) anyways, now im looking forward for that remaster of Hollow Ataraxia, and will probably play Fate/Samurai Remnant and Tsukihime Next, wish me luck! Im really enjoying things so far ^^!!!

I got Mahoyo last July on whim when I saw it on sale and loved it. And decided to get tsukihime when I was about halfway through, I think I got the last physical switch copy on Amazon 😅. And when I was seeing the credits type moon announced fate for PC. suffice to say I’m a new type moon fan ✌️😂 and I feel very lucky that I get to read all of these VNs one after the other. The wait for Red garden is going to be hard.

I'm going to blame FGO for all the Red Garden delaying, especially since I couldn't care less about FGO.

amazing video, mahoyo also made me love type moon in general as over the summer I slowly had a fall out but I eventually wanted to read a visual novel and it was the perfect candidate since i had it since may. Around November? I gave it a try and honestly it might be the best thing I experienced in my life which led me to reading the original tsukihime and the remake (I finished remake yesterday it was also peak.) Now I have plans to read the stay night vn, finish fgo, rewatch knk, and more as time goes on.

“Can be slow at times” Casual watcher here, but my favorite anime is Serial Experiments: Lain… I’ve been looking for a good mid 00s mature series to watch, this looks pretty good. Doesn’t look like one of those series that has to explain everything or has characters who constantly freak out screaming 😄

really good video summed up there story really well! it also hit me a lil deeply as I got into TM a year ago but never tried the vns till 2 months ago I played mahoyo and it was one if not the most notable experience I had in my life. I then went to og tsukihime then to the remake and I actually finished one of ciels endings yesterday and once again another notable experience il remember.

If you do put Umineko in number 1, we’d have the same top 3 in the same order. It’s the only three I’ve read minus Little Busters, which I haven’t finished. Some people don’t like chapter 8 of Umineko, it’s very mixed, but I personally found the ending to be amazing, and having to say goodbye to those characters brings a tear to my two face holes. The next visual novel I’m gonna read is Muv Luv I think.
