      There IS NO disease. There is an overpopulation of deer due to a lack of environment for them to survive, in addition to a lack of predators to keep their population in check. Expect the government to allege all deer are sick and prevent hunters from using venison as a food source. WAKE-UP, people.

    I remembered a report many years back about something called a "wasting disease" that made the deer look zombified. This was being watched closely in the midwest and entire herds were culled to slow the spread. I expect this to be that same disease finally reaching here.

    • @annalynnwaddy9940
      @annalynnwaddy9940 Год назад +32

      If you’re talking about Chronic Wasting Disease, then I can see your point. However, the illness spoken of in the video and CWD are similar diseases, though they’re a little different (mainly in how they progress, and how they’re spread). I was thinking the same thing, though. Very sad.
      If you want to learn more, I’d suspect that the CDC would have a page on the illness infecting the deer in the video. I wrote a research paper on CWD and its effects on cervidae a few years ago for a class in school, and the CDC was one of my sources

    Hemorrhagic diseases (Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease or Bluetongue) are common viral diseases of deer. Both viruses are related and have very similar symptoms but are different in that white-tailed deer get EHD, while Bluetongue is a well-known disease of domestic sheep, cattle, and goats, in addition to affecting deer.  EHD/Bluetongue are completely separate diseases from Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD). EHD is caused by a midge that will die when cold weather hits. The cases are higher this year due to the unusually warm temperatures we've all had.

    While I don’t live in the USA, I’ve learnt about this when studying animal diseases. While it’s a pretty strange disease that slowly eats away at the deer, making them show signs of being zombie like, it’s just a natural thing that occurs and all deer are at risk of getting it. They can also develop growths all over their body. Unfortunately, this is just nature, and the best thing fir the infected deer is just to euthanise them

    Sorry to hear of such a disease to the Deer populations. Hope this is something that is not contagious and able to be passed onto humans.

      we don't typically drink out of random puddles of water or even usually get close enough to get bit by a deer so even if it were basically nobody would get it. But thankfully its not, it only really affects deer from what they said in the video.

      Here in PA deer that are shot during hunting season are tested for CWD before they are dressed to prevent diseased deer from getting into the food chain.

      It's actually common among deer, some die from it every year but not many. Increase in 2021 - Current in Wild Pests Wake Up America the left is systematically wiping out all sustainable food sources one by one. Increase in bugs 2021 - Current Increase in Plane Sprayings 2021 - Current Decrease in Birds 2021 - Current Vegetable Diseases Increased 2021 - Current Increase in Droughts 2021 - Current Hotter Days with Colder Nights Increase 2022 No Fall Season 2021. Start keeping track and you'll see it's looking bleak and purposeful.

    My heart feels for the poor deer. They have to live in Ohio and get attacked by plants.

    According to this year’s game and fish regulations manual I’m in a CWD level 1 zone. Not liking the sound of that. It’s basically mad cow disease for deer. Yikes!

      Exactly! And no way to test a “healthy looking” deer from an obviously infected one. This is why I have stayed away from hunting. We have to find a way to test out in the field.
