    The rhythm moved me so much that I started solo-ing in my head, and even mouthed a few notes.. made my day, i guess.

    None of their albums can even come close to BSSM and Mothers Milk. Those are two of the most special and magical albums I have ever heard (especially BSSM). I think Frusciante was channeling something huge during this time. It gives me chills just talking about it. Nice work.

    Hey Nick, dont know if you read this. By now you have tons of Subscribers. Dont you want make a tutorial series? I mean everything from that glichy red hot sounds that nobody really wants to explain (like 0:15, 0:38) to funk and so on. And how the heck do you get that sound? I dont think I could get the same sound out of a '97 Strat on my own ever :D. I think your skills + some really "deep from the scratch tutorials" would push your channell in a new dimension, and I dont think that iam the only one here. Think about it! Greetings to you and you family.

      WaBe404 Sounds like a lot of compression and maybe some chorus. I can tab out the 0:15 part if you like. Hardest part about it is the speed. If I had to guess the guitar, I'd say '62 AVRI Hot Rod.

    • @avih

      TAB IT PLS

    • @phongy
      @phongy 7 лет назад

      Super late response but oh well. Just a regular American Standard from 2007(I could be wrong on the specific year). He shows it in a gear tour video. You can also tell because you can see the truss rod adjustment in the headstock (62's had them at the base of the neck), modern tree strings (vs vintage butterfly tree strings in 62's) and the modern bridge.

      Milton Oli Is not hard but wont sound like that easily. I think it has some chorus because it sounds a lot, and really clean.

    •  9 лет назад

      yep, surely this have some effect, like reverb, chorus, idk... but bro, seriously, I know its a improv and shit, but I really really loved this. :)

    • @mauromateosax
      @mauromateosax 9 лет назад

      Milton Oli Look what he does is the bass note with the thumb, and plays some notes of the pentatonic scale, i cant write the tab here but is mostly like that

    •  9 лет назад

      yes, I know, but that was special, man haha
      I mean... if you can write the tab for it, please, do it haha

      Peter pichler Frusciante joined the band at 18 and came up with Under the Bridge, Soul to Squeeze etc all at 19 year old. There is no comparison to JF and JK! Doesn’t matter how long Josh tries, Frusciante’s brain just works differently from most guitarists.
