My dad bought one for me in 2009. We had a lot of fun until we had some issues, quickly discharging batteries, starter was a bit unreliable, etc.
(I’m from Ecuador). We did 10-15 runs back then and we put it away due to those issues. We started it back again in 2014 for a couple runs and then put it away again because I started college and didn’t have time for it. Now I am starting to get back again, I got a scx24 crawler for my dad and he’s just loving it. I’d love to bring our revo 3.3 back to life. All of the batteries are dead, I will have to order replacements. What do you recommend? Plus, I saw you started a revo that was sitting for 10 years too! What should I clean, change or give maintenance, before even trying to start it up again?

I would buy the stock receiver pack it came with along with the starter wand.. You'll want to take the engine apart and clean the internals out and don't for to completely take apart the carb. Make sure all of the servos are working properly. The trans should be fine. I would take the slipper clutch out and inspect it too while you have the engine out. Hope this helps.
