So if you look online they have picture of the Le Petit Versailles plantation. It was a huge place. What's left of it is in that wooded area in the field.

Did you know that homeplace was in the movie Interview with a vampire? I remember seeing them set up as a kid. My mom was friends with the owner back them.

This was old man Kellers home at one time. Carlos Marcello family’s. Carlos owned the restaurant on hwy90
If you make a few phone calls, you could get permission to visit. Or you could even pay admission (novel thought) and get the whole tour. Much better than assuming you are allowed to be there.
