yeah, I had somehow failed every ingame "notice astarion is a vampire" opportunity before this so my character was very surprised when he stabs this guy in the throat with zero warning
I feel like you will have a chance to meet this Vampire lord similar to the antagonists of DOS2s characters such as Shadow Prince and The Doctor. I feel like if you sold Astarion out if you don't meet him again there would be some confirmation afterwards, as if the other companions in this game die in story moments you do have a sort of confirmation that they are just gone, vs this moment Astarion essentially got captured if you sold him
this gives off the energy of being at the dinner table with your family who all know you're gay except for that one aunt who starts to go off and talk homophobic stuff while you all sit there awkwardly.
There is a LOT of dialogue issues in the early access, asterion was with me and acted like he isn't the one who I allowed speak to the hunter, and I killed him after [the hunter] at least it gave me dialogue option to say that. A lot of weird dialogue bugs like that--I'm on my 2nd play/character of early access, and on my first play most of the in game dialogue options just totally skipped, or didn't function roperly. Weird
@@jenmygem SAME! I'm sure(hope) it will be fixed in the official version, on the upside, I've already made 3 characters to play with because of it--it's so fun xD
Roah Moonglow sells it in the Goblin Camp, in the ruined temple. Alternatively, you could kill the goblin leaders then her since she retreats into a firewine barrel room after and plus, she's a slaver so...lowkey kinda deserve it lol. Edit: you have to talk to her first to know all that, the Chain Shirt +1 doesn't appear unless you talk to her.
haha ty. Character creation is simple rn so it's High Half-Elf Head 2 Eye Colour Brown 1 Hair Colour Black Neutral Hair Style 24 Makeup Style 1, Cinnamon 70-80% I think Patch 3 is coming out soon and gamesaves before that will be incompatible so I'll see if anything changes in character creation!

Yeah sometimes I get audio syncing and dialogue skipping problems too. I'm not even holding down spacebar or alt (which are the skipping keys)
