Kessler knows himself, if in his timeline he fled with his family to protect them, not caring that the rest of the world was going to hell, what makes you think that he could make Cole fought by his side? Also, he only use time-travel once. Kessler never knew how the Beast emerged, so he wanted to prepare Cole much earlier.
One of my favorite boss fights to replay as Kessler is basically what Cole could have been if he had a couple decades to develop his powers and have to fight against that with a bunch of crazy techniques up his arsenal that you would never expect.

Yep. I loved the gritty, dark and dirtiness of this inFAMOUS and the original Cole's personality much better than his new one. Don't get me wrong, I did like the second one too but when you create a character and publish him/her in a game you have to stick with it if you make a sequel. The second inFAMOUS made Cole feel like the death of Trish didn't have much of an impact on him, but I do have to hand it to the second one that it brought out Evil Cole's true colors by killing Zeke and I certainly liked Good Cole's sacrifice for humanity and especially his best friend, and I really liked how Zeke's final goodbye line was repeated by Delsin when he was mourning his brother. inFAMOUS 2 did have UGC which gave it a very high replay value so I have to give it that. My biggest beef I have with inFAMOUS is the fight with Kessler was well done but the fight with the Beast was a major letdown, especially since both games led up to this fight. At least the fight with Brooke Augustine was done better than the Beast.
Swanny1883 While the atmosphere in 1 is the best, I think the characters, the story, and the gameplay of 2 is by far the absolute best out of all three.
I have only played the 60 minute trial version of this Infamous and It was really fun and by just played 60 minutes of it i can say for sure it is WAAAY better than Second Son. But my favourite is the 2nd one, it had a long story and fun side missions. Also I probably spent 50 hours at least in the UGC

Kesseler was a coward, if he fought the Beast in his timeline while it wasn't so strong, he could have killed it and been a hero. His family would have lived, he was stronger than the Beast in his timeline.
He wasn't a coward, he just didn't want to deal with the Beast as he didn't feel like it was his problem. So, he just fled with his family instead (this is common behavior when conflict breaks out).

I just beat this battle on hard.. And on PS Now. It's so cheese. At first, its like "Oooooohhhh shit." Then you realize after glitch dying 10 times, all you have to do is walk-dodge all the cheese they throw at you until Kessler kneels and then you unleash hell. Repeat this cycle about 15 times, roll credits. I give the PS Now version: 6.0 out of 10. The original 7.5 to 8.0. Do not play it on PS Now.
Just thought of something, so if future cole killed his girlfriend so his past self can focus on just becoming strong to beat the beast for the goodness of humanity then why didn't he do the same with Zeke?
It can be used when the karma is on full good/evil and a respective upgrade is unlocked for it. It's pretty neat to make orbital strikes with dozens of rockets shot in the air, which will later hit the next area hit with a lightning bolt.
How did Kessler get his powers if Kessler didn't go back in time in his timeline since if Kessler did in fact go back to his timeline he would have never married Trish and Kessler was the one who go Cole his powers right?

He went from a cannibalistic monster that destroyed everything in his path to regain his memories to some stupid ass villain in p2. Kessler on the other hand has an awesome outfit, cool power set and a unbreakable will to finish what he started.
