That's why games like Lethal Company, Minecraft in it's early stages and other games are popular! They had love, heart and soul. Landfall games STILL puts love, heart and soul in their games, as seen from Content Warning. Helldivers 2 is also a good example of a company putting lots of effort. I am really glad 2024 has so many great games as these!
I actually disagree indie developers DO want money its just the means to getting it is very different, AAA games do NOT have to be good to make a shit ton of money while nearly every indie game that was sucessful/made a lot of money had to be good or loved by the people who played it.
as someone who is interested in game design this game seems incredibly cool to me, all the mechanics act to support the main one (which is the big funny drill), which is all possible because of how interactive the drill is with the environment!! i hope i can play this game when it comes out :D

Your the first person I see go through 4-3 on the final world without taking the mini gun with you, cause that level was meant for you to bring it all the way to the end lol. But yes this game is very fun and I'm happy about this game overall, although the only thing for me to do left is get the gold on 3-2 which is extremely difficult and I want to beat it before the developer updates the game
Devolver is such a great game studio man. They always seem to make great games with a fun artstyle, a great gameplay loop and just overall cool mechanics. They made enter the gungeon which was great and now this game that is also great. I hope they keep this up

I remember playing the demo of this game on my switch and i had loads of fun playing it and its nice to see u enjoy it but idk why but i personally thought it was a mix of celeste and ori since the grinder is kind of like the dash
nah, this game HURTS my hands. literally. having to constantly press and hold ZR is absokute nightmare. I had to drop it at world 3 (snow). my hands hurt too much from playing it.
