I'm curious to see these on virgin dark hair swatches to see the actual "high lift" potential. But the colors look pretty! Definitely want to try them out!
this is perfect timing! i’ve just been thinking of dying my hair purple-black… this one is so secret that i might be able to get away with it at my corporate job 🤭
So interested in these and the Ion for dark hair only. I recently went red. Used L’Oréal hicolor highlights in magenta & red with manic panic vampire red ❤️ your past videos definitely helped me
I absolutely love the L'Oréal hi color shades, so thanks for this video. Since I keep my hair in the red range, these colors for dark hair are amazing. I use 40 vol which does a good amount of damage but it still seems gentler than bleaching.
I’ve used these ones for a while, especially magenta. They are awesome!! Just gotta be careful near the roots of you don’t want hot roots. And you are right, color oops is what I’ve always used to remove these. Copper fades pretty quick, it looks super pretty when you mix copper and red, but it fades very quickly. In my experience the magenta lasts longer. To refresh the magenta color in between dying roots, Vampire Red by manic panic works and matches the magenta really well
I have level 2 dark brown hair, I use the loreal hi colour hilites all over in red, not one of the magentas or anything, the hilites RED. And it has always given me the most perfect bright little mermaid red hair. Its so bright and vibrant. This red is a little too dark and dull for me. If I want red, I want stoplight, see me from a mile away, bright red.
I used the Garnier Nutrisse reds for dark hair for years and loved them, I grew out my hair for a few years now and I'm not ready to go back to red yet but I'm tempted by these 😭
Aislinn can I please just say, unrelated to the actual subject matter of the video, that your eye color is one of the most unique and gorgeous I’ve ever seen? I don’t know what it looks like in person but in your videos it is this olive green that I quite frankly am constantly distracted by 😍
I have very dark hair, so I’ve held off coloring my hair at home since I made it orange in 1998, and not a good orange. 😂🤣 I’ll definitely look into these.
im dying my hair like a maroon, red wine, burgundy type deal. and the girl at sally's gave this to me with 30 volume developer for my curly about a mixture level 4 5 and 6 hair. but i also have some natural lightness in my undertones as well as some streaks of blond and copper that has grown out and is at the bottom of my hair. she gave me wella
Its so funny seeing these come back, I was in Hairschool in Australia when a lot of these launched in the early 2000's. There were a few professional brands that did circa 2004? I wanna say. Redkin had Redlights, Wella was Lava/magma something, Matrix had one, and Affinage had b:red. We used to call them Double Impact colours I think.
The lady at Sally's recommended this and i bought it abd she said it would cover heavily highlighted hair and then saw it said dark hair and I'm questioning if i bought the right thing. Thanks for the video. 😊
Have you tried the Pravana Everlasting colors? They are absolutely beautiful permanent high lift vivids. I think you would absolutely love them! Their Violet Reign is so much better than this violet that really reads more like black on camera.
I think if u have bleached hair and want to go dark the violet would be good knowing u might wanna lighten again AND if u LOVE pink like me THAT would be AMAZING for it to lighten to that pretty pink even if u just bleached the tips OR did a full head highlight with a cap on my short hair i wouldnt even need a toner! lol
Honestly, I'd use the violet if I want a dark colour that goes away "easy". Sometimes you want to see yourself in dark and you dye your hair black, and then you get tired and regret everysecond you spent putting on that black. But the violet...does the work pretty well (at least, it looks like thet when the camera captured the color)
Bond Bar also came out with a hi lift line and I feel like it had similar results as Wella although I've only tried it with 20 vol so far. Would love to know your thoughs as I haven't seen many other videos on it.
Are there any good permanent violet shades? I've mainly tried drugstore ones and they were all shit, mostly turning reddish brown/black (best I ever got was a hint of purple in the sunlight). Even the one professional violet I tried just turned dark red. I wonder what's up with that
I have used Adore neon pink. Your hair will glow! It’s super difficult to fade out and like all neon inks, it has an orange undertone. It was the most difficult color to fade out, took forever!

I had used the L’Oréal high lift on virgin dark hair and their red colors worked fantastic.
L'Oreal Hicolor Red Hot was my JAM for like 15 yrs before I went blonde. They make the ONLY red that I've found that stays pretty well as it wear.
I’ve been using it for 15 years, still going strong!

I’m dirty blonde naturally , and I like the high lift reds the best. Because they’re brighter. I like either super bright or dark hair..
FINALLY A BEAUTIFUL COPPER DYE! I'm so tired of mixing arctic fox for my copper 😭
Hey love! Just saw that JoAnn Fabrics has spooky/witchy decor! Headed there today!

What color does the hair turn after using a color remover instead?
I’m ridiculously psyched to get an Aislinn video AND a Bailey Sarian video today! Happy belated Mother’s Day to me lol 🎉😂
Same here! Such a great Mother's day gift lol

Cute nails! 😍 I would love to see the swatches in the natural lighting.

i would love to see how color oops would do on these kinds of swatches
I’m a bleach blonde so I won’t need these but it was cool seeing what they do! 💖💖💖

Thank you soooooooo much for doing it also on dark hair 🙏🥹🫠❤️
i love your videos!!!! so helpful!

Love pravana ♥️❣
@annasnailstudio7120 same, I use their vivids and joico the most. I just love how nice my hair feels after them and the pravana stays so well!

They are beautiful, even when washed out❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🌞🌈☠️

Honestly not that I have tried, you’re better off glazing the hair with a purple semi permanent color 🖤
Ooooo exiting xx❤
the violet is disappointing but the other colors are beautiful!
Have you ever tried the pink neon from adore? In dying for it but idk if its good, I only trust in you LMAO
I haven’t! I’m sorry 😞 🩷

🖤🌈🖤🌈
Violet?? That's black 😂
The video isn’t playing for me, weird
