Nice Ride & Sounds 🤗 I miss my old 1990 Bluebird GMC 72.pass..As yours is a Thomas The Safe view the drivers have from the drivers seat 💺 The newer buses have Blindspots side windshield posts Bigger mirror houseings .The drivers has to play peek-a-Boo around this..I had People & Cars crossing near the the Front of my bus Hidden by Windshield post/Mirror 😮 Thankyou again for safe fun ride. 🇨🇦
This bus brings back some good memories!! In Wake County they ran real good until their retirement in 2004.
I love this Allison transmission in this bus. I love that high pitch noise it makes when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear.

This takes me back to middle and high school in Warren County till they give our driver a freightliner bus in 2000
Sounds heavenly! Like when I was in grade school ...I loved the puff of black smoke when they’d take off after dropping me off!
I thought I was the only one that missed that sound. Took me from 9th through 12th grade. Still remember bus number, 91-2.
Love the sound of 8.2 Detroit diesel and Allison at 545
Me too one of my favorite buses growing up on was a 1991 Chevy Thomas bus
Ryan Phelps elementary to middle school I rode a few Chevys in high school I rode a 99 freighliner fs65 bus 807
Man, I miss that engine! Brings back memories from elementary and middle school days!
I miss driving them Chevy buses all the smoke
Me too
I know I hear a AT-545 in that. Please tell me it does!
Thats Correct AT-545
I love that transmission.
Those Chevy's aren't that bad. A chevy is our regular bus in NC.
Really most are gone or have been converted into activity buses, what county still uses a chevy bus as a regular bus ?
Moore county, and this was a last ditch effort.
But, it was about a year or two ago. But once again, we have a old bus.
Oh wow I work for Davidson county and we got rid of all of our chevys about 4 or 5 years ago
I believe a Ford b800 numbered 184. They gave us this one after our 1998 Freightliner died.
I wanna drive one so bad
The Chevy I ride was supposed to be only a substitute bus, but it ended up being permanent after our bus was broken
😂
easy on them turns their bud lots of chassis strain
Clifton Warner he wasn’t really going that fast around the turns he done 35 if that around them
