Unlimited liability and capital contribution are two different things. 1) Unlimited liabilities refer to the repayment of external debts to third parties such as creditors, borrowings, loans, etc. 2) Capital contribution refers to the amount of money invested in the company by its owners and other stakeholders.
A cooperative society is established with a motive for the welfare of its members and the society at large. In case of surplus, the profit is distributed among the members as dividend in conformity to the bye-laws of the society.

I have a question. If the members take loan on company's name eg. My company's name is ASC and co. then who will repay the loan? Because the members can say that ASC and co. Has taken loan, company= artificial person, and that company should re-pay. Is it like all the members have to repay as per their liability or something else?
