Ya exactly. It seems like they bumped into each other and decided to have some casual talk. Was constantly seeking some depth or that Ohhh moment. Nevertheless, may be next time.
One of their delivery agent was killed recently in an accident. I don't understand what's the purpose of this 10 min delivery , it just endangers the lives of the delivery boys. Seriously , you need to get a life if you can't move your ass and go to 5-10 min away shop to get your groceries.
I'm tryna understand how this will be different to the other 2000 different instant grocery startups around the world. There's Zapp, Getir, Jokr, GoPuff, Fridge No More, Buyk, Now Now, Gorrilas, Grofers, Blinkit and I'm sure I've missed another 30. None of them are profitable. The idea of starting up 100s of micro fulfilment centers close to consumers, stocking each of them, hiring packers for each store and hiring delivery riders for each store seems unsustainable. Why is Zepto going to create a profit when players in this industry for the past 10 years aren't able to do so?
As long as they are burning someone's money, it's fine. But these kind of companies should never be allowed to come up with an IPO unless they make profits. No burning of public money.
Having worked in a couple of startups as a sales associate trust me in the name of scaling they literally put so much of pressure on us that i have literally changed 10 companies in 3 years and am in deep depression! The only thing I learnt from this podcast is that "it's SEXY".

great podcast. although, the mics were not positioned properly.
With millions of dollars in your back, these road side stalls can too do billion dollar valuation. Zepto is a absolute crap of a startup, literally nothing innovative. Btw nobody gives a flying fuck about getting 10 mins grocery delivery
my man was more focused onn drinking the juice he had in front of him
Can you please make the part 2 of this video
They don't even provide the life insurance and medical insurance for the delivery guy , what if something happens to them who will take the responsibility ??
And what they did with *Ansh Nanda* 👀 ?
Good question very very good question {^_^}..(who the hell wants grocery in 10 minutes)....they are on a game of speed. NICE PODCAST. NOW WE HAVE 2 QUALITY INDIAN PODCASTERS RAJ & RANBEER. I AM FOLLOWING BOTH THEY ARE AWESOME.
Thank you!
Great man you are doing great
If they open their own stores would they not run into problems with FDI rules in multi brand retail since their investors are foreign same as Amazon?

Bring Kunal Shah again Raj.. please..!!

@@vancityakash you're agreed to every comment 🤣
@@hiteshgautam515 agreed with u too man 🥂
to anyone saying who tf needs groceries in 10 minutes , its highly helpful for ppl that are trapped in certain situations like lets say u ran out of menstrual products and u cant even go out to get them. Waiting for an hour or more for those products by swiggy etc is simply not viable.
Love from Tamil Nadu Brother
Really this video gave some Ideas to Start the Startup
Glad To Hear That ❤

Amazing podcast with amazing cast!!
Enjoyed alot
If you not think firstly as an entrepreneur so revenue model would be not good, may idea was for help but the end goal is money, bcz nothing can be done without money.
Let's speak when they are profitable..Right now they are just burning cash and running an unsustainable business..Their product is a simple inventory & order management tool, nothing great without any defensibility. They do not even have delivery guy tracking
There are 4 to 5 unicorns in india in infra(construction) industry
Best of them is Zetwerk. Zetwerk is one of the best unicorns in India , in terms of tech. Manufacturing , software.

I want to know who their Dads are. I find it unbelievable these guys randomly get a funding out of no where with nothing special in their business model with already existing companies.
Absolutely
It's because of yc, that opened them to good network of investors

At 4:08 they say they analysed the data based on different aspects like retention, price points, kind of stuff people are ordering and eventually delivery time.
Can someone here tell me how did they get this data or where does one gets this data from?
Please improve the audio quality, rest, content is superb.
Really interesting!
