  • How to make the best Plant Based Spicy Cumin Toothpick Lamb at home? 孜然素羊肉串
The flavours in this vegan cumin lamb made with Soya Chunks are sooooo good. I don’t really know how to explain it, but it tastes so extremely authentic and lamb-y. This dish is a prime example of how the majority of what we believe is the flavour of meat is really the flavour of the complimenting herbs and spices. And this recipe is super easy, and the toothpick lamb makes them even more appetizing, fun and delicious! Hope you like them too!
    Ingredients:
    (2-3 servings)
    soya chunks
    green onions, ginger, garlic
    sugar, salt
    light / dark soy sauce
    cornstarch
    cumin seeds and powder
    chilli flakes
    sesame seeds
    coriander or parsley, chives
    toothpicks

Hello do you have any recipe of soya pulp (okara)?

    • @soyasoyang-soykitchen
      @soyasoyang-soykitchen  Год назад +1

It's indeed a great topic. Since I often make soy milk and tofu myself, I also have to find ways to make use of soy pulp. It's nutritious and rich in plant fiber, so it's a shame to waste it. However, I haven't made any video recipes specifically about soy pulp so far. If more people are interested, I'd love to share some of my favorite recipes with everyone. Here's a simple soy pulp cookie recipe that you might want to try! Here's a recipe for cookies:
      INGREDIENTS
250g Okara, wet (the pulp left over from making soy milk when straining in a sieve)
      150g whole wheat flour
      80g brown sugar
      50g shredded coconut
50g dark chocolate, chopped into pieces
      1 tsp baking powder
      2 tbsp maple syrup
      1 tsp cinnamon
      1/4 tsp salt
      1 tsp vanilla extract
      INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and combine thoroughly.
Form small balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and lightly flatten them.
Bake for approximately 15 minutes or until the cookies turn brown."
      Enjoy your cookies! 🍪
