Guys, sorry about the audio in the previous release; it's now fixed! Yeah, haven't been getting much sleep these days, feeling a bit dizzy, lol! Subscribe to give me some motivation! www.youtube.com/@SamiLuo
Yeah you also forgot filming with the Xiaomi 14 zoom lens and just zoomed digitally haha but hey I totally enjoy your videos - so please get some sleep and come back with all your joy and excitement 😇🎈 Go Sami Go!! 🥳🥳
Mate 60 Pro camera has a white effect and not as sharp as Xiaomi 14 pro. Overall Xiaomi 14 pro is more stable, sharp and produce natural color for video and Pictures . Xioami 14 pro win in all aspect 1080p and 4k. the only good thing about mate 60 is the zoom capability.
As a photographer, aperture should be tested better with a portrait shot. This way we will be able to see the background separation, bokeh, and the extent of digitization when using variable aperture. Thank you
Absolutely, he also talks about exposure with the background at selfie mode instead of touching at the background to override the face recognition which sets it right to the face 🤣 but he is a fun guy, not a technician or photographer so I guess we just enjoy his work and excitement and be happy that he shows us all the great Xiaomi 14 stuff until we can get it haha 😊🎈
I can tell you by just looking at the camera specs that you won't get actual bokeh (unless your definition of bokeh is just "blurry background"). And any subject separation you get isn't going to be much: A 1/1.31 sensor is going to have a 3.6x (ish) crop factor. The max aperture is f1.4, which for bokeh/subject separation is impacted by the crop-factor, so is going to give you as much subject separation/distortion as a f5 aperture at full frame. That's not particularly great. That is not enough for real bokeh, but would normally be enough for passable blurring - depending on your focal length. This is where the 23mm equivalent further reduces how much subject separation you can get. The wider your angle, the harder it is to get bokeh and the larger your aperture needs to be. 23mm is pretty standard on phones as the main shooter but its technically an ultrawide focal length, you aren't going to see much blurring at f5 equivalent aperture. Low light is the real benefit here, as crop factor is irrelevant.
Xiaomi is better for me. It doesn't look overexposure and videos have a great balance between perfectly lit and proper shadow darkness. The videos also have great balance between going from bright to dark without overblowing everything Overall Xiaomi and by a mile too. Selfies tho overblown highlights have better skin colour which is fine since I find those kinds of selfies to adequate. Can't wait to see how they'll handle the Ultra.
I do prefer the 14 Pro mostly. The Mate colours are all over the place. Can't argue about the zoom though, much better on the Mate. Nice video, thanks again Sami Luo
I've loved Xiaomi for ±8 years, but this is the first time Xiaomi's flagship smartphone has been able to exceed my expectations....Hopefully the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will provide hardware that is no less good than the Vivo X100 Pro+ which is rumored to be used 200MP sensor periscope lens and Oppo Find X7 Pro which is rumored to be used two periscope lens
Ever since samsung improved their low light stability I'm not sure if I want another phone except for the s24. But I prefer the xiaomi here exposure is just right and not too noisy.
Good video... I was wondering if it would be worth doing a video based on using the 'Pro' camera and video features to see how good or bad the results are compared to a dedicated camera. By using the 'Pro' features, will the results be better than the iPhone 15 Pro Max? Thank you!
Great vedio! But i got a question: Have you turned on the audio source tracking and immersive audio on xiaomi? Sounds like xiaomi have a better audio recording
Thanks for the test, appreciated 👏 I personally don't like 30 fps footages, they look way too choppy and feels 15 fps, wondering why they still insist on these mods, at least 48 fps should be standard for today.
Great comparison! so sad to not see the mate 60 pro in europe... being a bit off topic, does the xiaomi support esim also in his chinese version? I am really in love with the xiaomi but i need esim support
I think Xiaomi 14 Pro is a slighty better choice than Huawei Mate 60 Pro. 🌟Xiaomi 14 Pro : ✅ Better Main Rear Camera Daylight and Night Videography ✅ Better Selfie Night Videography ✅ Better Chipset & Specs 🌟 Huawei Mate 60 Pro : ✅ Better Smartphone Rear Design ✅ Better Main Rear Camera Daylight & Night Photography ✅ Better Selfie Daylight Videography
Indoor photo and video = Huawei Mate 60 Pro Outdoor photo and video = Xiaomi 14 Pro Macro photo = Huawei Mate 60 Pro Night photo = Huawei Mate 60 Pro Night video = Xiaomi 14 Pro
I love to know how loud the speaker compare from previous 12-13pro I have xiaomi 12t pro at bs4 pro which is good output of speaker I love do watching movies and anime Pls have a short video compare to other xiaomi or other brand thank you
In some features such as video Xiaomi wins but in the other features like camera and zoom huawei takes the win. Overall I think huawei wins. Ofc people have different opinions on liking but pictures are way better in huawei compared to Xiaomi
I dont know... sometimes Huawei looks better and sometimes its Xiaomi... But i would still go with Xiaomi even tho the 14 pro seem to be worse than 13 pro so far... Xiaomi defo needs to kill those "beauty" filters!
I'd prefer the mate 60 pro overall. I think it's better for zoom and miles better the front camera. For the main camera it's mostly personal preference. I don't like the way the Xiaomi 14 pro handles pictures of people though. The pictures of the young child were far more natural on the Mate 60 pro. They were totally oversaturated on the Xiaomi 14 pro. Generally Xiaomi takes the higher saturation route for photos which is very evident on the kids clothing and photos of flowers and greenery. Not a big fan of that. All flagship rear cameras are good these days though. It's more that they have different styles and different strengths and weaknesses. There is no perfect one.
No offense, but this phone is terrible. I suggest you to give us a battery drain test. Me and my friend both bought one of these devices we currently live in China. We bought the Chinese version, both of us had it for a week and we returned it, The battery life is horrible. We couldn't even get five hours of screen on time. You take it off charge at nine in the morning and before two o'clock in the afternoon, it's dead. 😅😅 The new hyper system drains the battery life too much. Sold it for an s23 ultra. best decision ever made.

I was wondering why the re-upload
Why don't you use the sound filter on Xiaomi for those wind noise in all
If it were possible to clarify who has a more realistic color in the picture, I see a discrepancy between yellow and orange between the 2 cameras
Yeah you also forgot filming with the Xiaomi 14 zoom lens and just zoomed digitally haha but hey I totally enjoy your videos - so please get some sleep and come back with all your joy and excitement 😇🎈 Go Sami Go!! 🥳🥳

Bro I don't think you watched the video tho
@@innocentanthony3324it's the perspective of every individual each and every has different opinions
yes huwawei has some wired yellow color almost every night photo and video, its wired
Xiaomi is better
Ok, but the sharpness of video in Xiaomi is too much - overboosted and does not look natural 😢 the same issue as previous models (xiaomi 13)
As a photographer, aperture should be tested better with a portrait shot. This way we will be able to see the background separation, bokeh, and the extent of digitization when using variable aperture. Thank you
I agree this is pretty much where I use it not just low light shots.

In a selfie camera how you appear is what really important. Xiaomi 14 pro nailed it both day and night.
Huawei has 10 levels of aperture. Its just that aperture mode is showing 4 but Pro mode has them all. Not sure why that is the case
Xiaomi has great hardware. Hope they keep optimising the software. Especially the sky has a little magenta, sometimes a little too cool, HDR etc
Ever since samsung improved their low light stability I'm not sure if I want another phone except for the s24. But I prefer the xiaomi here exposure is just right and not too noisy.
у меня был s23 ultra, , сейчас xiaomi 13, мне кажется что у сяоми меньше шумов но определенно больше засветов.
The image quality on Huawei is outstanding
Xiaomi is doing surprisingly very well ! But colours ? Sometimes they are completely different from Huawei, so which one is right ? 🤔
Wow.. xiaomi 14 camera wins ! So much better showing the natural dark areas while Mate 60 is like no night & day with auto brightness...
Xiaomi melhor em cores, Huawei melhor em zoom. Dois ótimos celulares !
It's not like you'll be using that zoom everyday so Mi14 wins for me
Good video... I was wondering if it would be worth doing a video based on using the 'Pro' camera and video features to see how good or bad the results are compared to a dedicated camera. By using the 'Pro' features, will the results be better than the iPhone 15 Pro Max? Thank you!
Xiaomi performed way better than Huawei.
Great vedio! But i got a question: Have you turned on the audio source tracking and immersive audio on xiaomi?
Sounds like xiaomi have a better audio recording
Yep, the last one had audio issues, thanks for the quick reupload!
Hello Sami Luo! Does Xiaomi 14 have bypass charging?
1:32 wow Xiaomi colors and stable video perfect Xiaomi have great camera for now
but this year for xiaomi 14 pro are the two authentic vibrating modes still present?
yes
Much better. 👍 I thought the left side of my TV had a stroke or something. 😲
Mantap bang video comparenya, ternyata mic xiaomi 14 pro mampu meredam suara2 noise
I wonder if the Mate 60 Pro Plus would do better with its larger sensor?
But the mate 60 pro is better here
Both phones have excellent stabilisation feature but Huawei excel Xiaomi in the camera zoom department. The camera macros is superb. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
Thanks for the test, appreciated 👏
I personally don't like 30 fps footages, they look way too choppy and feels 15 fps, wondering why they still insist on these mods, at least 48 fps should be standard for today.
Xiaomi is very natural colour mode
Mi 14 pro looks better in terms of managing true to life and better dynamic range. Zoom is better on the mate 60 pro 😮
use every camera at 60 fps, it's still the wide, of you use video at 30 fps Xiaomi change camera, and have a Better quality and zoom
i dont know why the sky is messed up on xiaomi 14 pro. Can you explain me brother?
does the xiaomi 14 and 14 pro support 1080p 480fps slow motion like last year xiaomi 13
i have seen better from huawei mate 60 pro have you upadte it?
1:31 color different is too much ,reddish and yellow book shelf. Which one is more accurate ?
Xiaomi cant switch lenses when taking video so when u r taking with 6 x is digital zoonm on main cam rather than using tele
8:04 brother for the zoom Xiaomi have telephoto lens and Huawei have periscope telephoto lens that the reason Huawei is good
should also put your opinion on photography part bro... i expect a lot from you 👍
From the perspective of the Xiaomi user, the Xiaomi has better quality in video, but in photography, the Huawei is better.
Great comparison! so sad to not see the mate 60 pro in europe... being a bit off topic, does the xiaomi support esim also in his chinese version? I am really in love with the xiaomi but i need esim support
not supporting that though
Nice comparison
Xiaomi 14 Pro. 👍🏻 👌🏻
I think Xiaomi 14 Pro is a slighty better choice than Huawei Mate 60 Pro.
🌟Xiaomi 14 Pro :

Outdoor photo and video = Xiaomi 14 Pro
Macro photo = Huawei Mate 60 Pro
Night photo = Huawei Mate 60 Pro
Night video = Xiaomi 14 Pro

I love to know how loud the speaker compare from previous 12-13pro
I have xiaomi 12t pro at bs4 pro which is good output of speaker

That 12:53 got me hahaha
So much color difference, and video of Xaiomi have , lost of jiters, and stutters 😢
The HyperOS is not that optimized apparently
Should try to avoid the noisy construction site in future videos.
This guy is just a xiaomi fan, nothing u want tell, this is totally biased review, yet huawei is still keeping up
شاومي أجمل وافضل ❤
What is the real color of the bookshelf? Xiaomi show orange and Huawei show yellow. Which is real?
Xiaomi 14 Pro more less jittery video
I dont know... sometimes Huawei looks better and sometimes its Xiaomi... But i would still go with Xiaomi even tho the 14 pro seem to be worse than 13 pro so far... Xiaomi defo needs to kill those "beauty" filters!
Huawei winz, coz xiaomi picsaz looks like greeny💥👀, stabilisation huawei, noise consultion huawei wins, video en zoom huawei wins
Variable aperture is the advanced version of potrait
Xiaomi doing better job here
For photos mate 60 pro all the way
Why is Mate 60 Pro so yellowish? Also lags a bit 😥
Look like Xiaomi 14 pro more stable, sharp & natural resolution
Xiomi 14pro front video waoo❤❤❤

For DxOmark: Huawei Mate 60 Pro 👍

It's annoying that the dropped a camera like the Huawei mate phones had 4 cameras on their phones this year it's 3
I'd prefer the mate 60 pro overall. I think it's better for zoom and miles better the front camera. For the main camera it's mostly personal preference.
