iPhone did a damn good job at 20x zoom test. Beat the others by miles. Pixel does the best job at ultra wide. Mate has poor software but it has that bigger sensor look so it’s got good potential purely by its hardware and optics. But I do wish Apple just put in a large sensor on their iPhones because that’s the only part that Apple cheaps out on for some reason
Huawei actually has smallest sensors this year, at least today. P60 Pro/Mate 60 Pro+ are the today's standard in terms of tele/main HW, especially with that IMX888 with it's stacking. Mate 60 Pro reuses camera setup from Mate 50 RS, which has even smaller tele sensor than the normal Mate 50 Pro!
Poor software? It's the only one that doesn't use nightmode and still trades blows with the other two. And its sensors are the smallest, since the ban greatly affected their ability to get parts for their supply chain.

Huawei ryyb color science is very similar to apple. Google is just a completely different color, looks most HDR too (aka tone map). Apple has this weird trick of reverse tone mapping to guess brightness levels in the photos, thus it shows photos that look like it’s taken in Dolby Vision. I always complain about apple green tint to image and videos, but sometimes when you watch on a big screen, it kinda look like what our brain remembers it to be. I like the pixel processing, it’s post ready. And it got many ai tricks. And I don’t like apple green tint and heavy shadows. Btw the sony sensor seems to be dusty.

All 3 phones take good photos and videos, but I think Huawei is probably still unrivaled in photography. Thanks Ben for the comparison video.
it didnt make a "come back: huwaui didnt even announce it.. the CCP did. No one knows details about its chipset. its theorized they had back invenrtory or found a loop hole in the embargo and found some dutch machines to make chips..which were a few years older and more expensive to make. probably not even making money on these phones.. the CCP is desperate to save face as always.. they always lie and fake technology. the average person wont do any research and think china is so advanced
Pixel's HDR is still the king of the jungle! It is a little over processed at times, but for just point and snap, the Pixel is my pick
I like Pixel's colour science the most. Noise reduction and other post-production edits are always easy to do later, if needed at all.
3:10 notice how the iphone didnt even switch the lense.
Thats what i really DONT like on the 15. Apple decides way too often that 5x digital is better than 5x optical.
So apple knows that the lense is trash and just added it for fun. 😅
Ps: Scientific tests suck anyway.
Great vid!
At this point just pick the phone that suits your needs they are all great. I would go with the iPhone because I do more videos than pics.
Now that I got my hands on the OnePlus Open I'm not sure I can go back to slab phones. I would love to get a Huawei Mate X3 or X5. Unfortunately between the US ban on Huawei and the price mark up on the X3 I just can't. Hopefully more chinese brands will release their foldable globally or Samsung will take cues from the chinese brands and make the Zfold thinner and with a wider outer display
中情局不能监听,他们当然要发布禁令
The "clean" night shot of the neon sign you took stated towards Huawei is only because its not picking up the details of duat on the window like the other two.
You are a one man crew.💪🏻
Im ok with a bit more noise for more details, I like the Pixel looks more. Eitherway all of them are awesome very hard to chose.
Great review as always Ben 👏🏻 What is your current daily driver Android phone?
I was using OnePlus open for last month but just switched back to pixel today
@@bensgadgetreviews will probably get a pixel too😍
Its possible to buy Mate 60 pro in Europe?

Ben Sir,
Thanks for showing the quality of these devices side by side.
It's all VERY CLOSE isn't it........."subjective" as you say
i would love to see what can be forced out of a $25 walmart Z 30 TCL phone with the "open camera" free app.............JUST OUT OF ITEREST
much
Hey Ben I wonder why you use the pro while the huawei mate 60 pro plus has a better ultra wide and a faster aperture of f 3.0 on 60 pro plus?
Im happy about the review still, I am just curious.
If you are fanatics go for iphone, if you go for performance no doubt huawei, this is the most accurate comment and suggestion. 👌👌👌👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️
The iPhone and Pixel completely blow the Huawei Mate out of the water. I remember a few years back when I had the Huawei p20 and that was amazing, but now you cannot even compare a Huawei to an iPhone
iPhone all the way, preserved details without overbrightening everything. Ben should have harnessed the iPhone's 48 MP ProRaw shooting in this review.
Google needs to work on the lens transition in video. It's so noticeable, gotta give credit to apple on theirs
Really like your content. Is there any chance we can meet in bangkok
How much mate 60 pro 12/512
mate photos is amazing
8 gen 3 phone comparison pls
I don't know why it took so long to do this, and not sure whether you noticed been asking you for this in comments, insta DM , one with Huawei Mate60Pro/P60 Pro and Thank You Ben! Finally. Never seen an in-depth using P60 Pro not sure why but this makes me happy. Know you're one of those very few RUclipsrs who still appreciates, reviews Huawei and what they does. Good Work Ben! ✨
ey bro when you mentioned at the end that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is your favourite camera phone trust me I was like yeah Ben knows what's up 😂 I was comparing the images to how my 13 Ultra would have taken them and I liked the iPhone the most for that reason
0:38 the iPhone is the best by far - it captured that car, while the others completely missed it
Very very good thanks
iPhone did the best overall imo, Huawei Second and Pixel Last. I am not sure why people seem to prefer the over processed hdr mess of the Pixel Photos
I think the Pixel still has the best look in images. It just has the cinematic look like cinema cameras vs traditional cameras. Video has improved a lot too. Looks a lot less noisy than last year.
The 5x portrait on the iPhone is the best one? Why didn’t you shout with that?
Shout? I’m in public can’t shout
got huawei mate 40 pro plus and its soo good
HEY MAN you are the best🎉🎉🎉always fun to follow your work
Thank you
