You helped alot when i was studying for SAT as an international candidate with limited time. I got admitted to several universities with a lot of scholarships. Thanks❤❤
@@MonarchTK_hii can i know what schools u applied to or got accepted into with full scholarships? im also an international student and im not sure which schools i should apply to yet im only familiar with the reach schools so do you know any safety/match schools?
Hi Anna I just got a 1540 on my digital sat test and your videos were one of the first ones that helped my sat journey. I just wanna say thank you for making the previous me motivated enough to really grind through this test.
@@Anas-im4gt It was really just a lot of practice tbh, nothin special. I noticed I was weak on English so I practiced grammar questions till I could identify the question types right away, solve them quickly and leave as much time for the reading passages. For English resources then I heard Erica Meltzer’s books were great. Khan academy and past sat qas are great resources too. For math, I used Dr Chung 63 tips: it worked well for me. I guess just addressing your weaknesses and practicing is good enough.
The digital SAT is so much more friendly compared to the pencil and paper one. Math is similar, but I hate the reading on paper. On digital, verbal is so much better (easier).
Hi Anna, thank you so much for making so many helpful videos. My daughter still needs some help in reading, I wonder if you do private tutoring online, please let me know, thanks.
Even if I just graduated high school this is helpful. College here we come! And Anna whatever you get a chance you heard college board CLEP? If so you like the idea of it?
Congrats! I don’t really know much about the CLEP program, but it sounds like a great way to get college credit if the college you’re interested in accepts it :D
is any of the content on the digital sat different from the normal sat? if im not wrong the digital sat will be administered in 2024, which will be in spring of my junior year, but im currently just studying for the psat nmsqt which will be in fall 2023... im just wondering if i should change any of my study pattern to properly adjust.. thanks for your advice! it helps a lot
Ooh I think you’re definitely caught right in the transition period then. I believe the NMSQT will still be the paper test (though you might want to verify that) and since there isn’t too much content out there yet for the DSAT I’d recommend studying like you would for the normal SAT at least until you take the NMSQT. Then I’d recommend using the prep college board has (Khan, Bluebook, and non adaptive tests) for the DSAT to make sure you understand the format and can do ok with the slightly faster paced/shorter questions, since your actual SAT will be digital if you take it spring or beyond. The content won’t change very much between the tests, but the strategies that work best for you probably will at least a bit. Good luck!
If you click on Full-Length Practice under the Practice and Prepare section, the drop down will let you select any of the four DSAT practice tests to take--hope this helps!
hi ummm firstly , impeccable video ! i will be taking SATs this nov (2023), so is DSAT already in public ? what should i prepare myself for ? pen paper SAT or DSAT . lil confused here , comments down here say that DSAT will be launched in 2024 however , some articles on internet say that about 30000 students have already taken digital SAT PS- I AM AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT FROM ASIA :))
Thanks! The DSAT is has been launched for international students since spring 2023, so I believe you should study for that instead of the paper version.
Hello, sis. I will attend DSAT in October. I have only 2 week left. I am panicking right now. How can I score 1500+ in a short. Can you give me any suggestion?
Hello! I will be taking the SAT digital with a scholarship, I would like to know if prepscholar has a full scholarship/fee waiver available because I don’t have resources to pay the course, thank you for the help!!
Hi-I don’t think that they do, but I would recommend Khan Academy’s digital SAT prep instead. It’s completely free and still a great resource for improving your score! It’s okay if you can’t purchase test prep resources-by using free content online like RUclips videos, articles on grammar, r/SAT on Reddit, Khan Academy, etc. coupled with College Board’s official practice tests, you can accomplish the same thing as prepscholar...you’ll just have to be a bit more self-driven! You got this :D
Hi @annas-universe Will the results of digital SAT be mailed to us since there is a section for mailing address in which we are supposed to give ZIP code and address? Alternatively, can the online score reports be used in college application, are they legit and recognized by universities (online score reports)? Does digital SAT give any weight to college application and being accepted? Thanks in advance!
Hi Keisi! I believe they want your mailing address for sending you junk mail about colleges (I don’t think they ever sent me physical copies of my scores, AP or SAT), but the online score reports are legit and what’s used in college applications (there is a way to send them to colleges through college board when the time comes). The digital SAT will probably function the same as the old SAT, where it’s considered a pretty large factor in college admissions, but since colleges have been going test optional lately/not giving test scores as much weight, I expect that trend to continue. :)
@@ddnnd7741 yes they do. I noticed that some of the questions I got in my practice tests were in the khan academy lessons. but I don't recommend to avoid khan academy cuz of it.
Where are you doing Chemical engineering from Anna ? N what is validation engineering internship- am asking this q for my son who is in gr 11 preparing for DSAT. Did you take additional coaching for SAT to score 1600??? If yes, then where from???
@neelukampani6548 I’m doing chemical engineering at the University of Michigan! A validation engineering role probably depends on the company a bit, but generally what I did was verified test results and helped Techs test the company’s products, along with fixing and troubleshooting broken machinery. I mostly used free resources, but also used Prepscholar’s online program! I’m partnered with them now, so you can get $50 off in the video description if your son is interested :D
