Air Force One in London arriving at Stansted Airport | Boeing VC-25, Trump in UK

- Air Force One (AF1) arrived at London Stansted Airport with President Donald Trump for a 3 day UK State visit on 3 June 2019. Boeing VC-25 02-29000 Air Force1 landed accompanied by US Marines Sea Kings. The presidential arrival was preceeded by a Boeing C32A 09-0015 with two VH3D Sea King's and 3 C47 Chinooks arriving earlier in the morning.
The video captures the arrival of the helicopter formation, the C32A (B757) and Air Force One VC25 (747) and the departure of the Seakings sadly there were no Boeing MV22 Osprey's this time but eurocopters of the UK Police again add to the array of aircraft.
As always, I hope you enjoy watching this spectacle (politics and personalities aside). London Stansted Airport has played host to a number of visits by Air Force One.

All US Presidents have huge entourages. This is overseas and his secret service, have vehicles. Helicopters, planes to carry them, etc.
Obama’s and Michelle’s were big. She had her own entourage when she went separately.

My uncle was one of the Boeing VP's when the 747 was still a prototype. The documentation process was one of the areas he was responsible for. He told me that was the peak of his 40 year career. It was the last airliner released before he retired. That was a few years prior to digital documentation becoming the standard. He told me that the maintenance manuals and documentation for the 747 filled three 45 foot semi-trailers. Now, that would probably be condensed into two suitcases full of DVD's! ;^)

It's was nice to see how air Force one in the helicopters maneuver around air Force one before it lands ..
Good to see. We had a similar show abt 15 years ago when former US president Bush j attended the memorial day sceremony at the US Military cemetry at Margraten here in the south east of the Netherlands. Then they arrived with 2 VC25A's shortly after each other. But there was a lot of preperation in the days before the arrival ath Maastricht-Aachen Airport EHBK. Everything was closed, we regular spotters could no longer reach our favorate spots. And then again many years before that, I saw Air Force One for the first time at the nearby NATO base "Frisbee" Geilenkirchen (Germany) when former president Clinton came to collect his German award Karlspreis in Aachen. I was there when AF 1 left again. Always very impressive!

@@aviationvideos Did you know that AF1 is not water washed, but only hand polished? I'm sure some would criticize as an excess, but I respect it as a symbol of excellence.
@@ltodd79 hellp L Todd i didnt know the exact way AF1 was kept so clean but with those shiny bare metal parts and ultra clean body i am actually not surprised its polished. Image is important in many walks of life.so it seems reasonable.for a nation to present itself well

I saw a convoy of jets flying over my house today, must have been 3 and then followed by 4 typhoons, was this anything to do with Air Force one?
Probably. It is escorted by fighter jets, but you won't usually see them from the ground.
Awesome I watched the whole airspace empty on flightradar24 when he landed but there was a wrightstown - mildenhall B747 atlas air flight very close when AF1 landed was wondering if it was full of troops in case of emergency.

Oh, I added quite a lengthy comment! But WHERE did the 5th C-32A come from?!? As thwre were only 4 in the original program. My comments below will describe the internal differences that I've seen simply from news reports, etc, from the one pictured in this excellent video - and thank you Sir!!!-and the ones normally used as Air Force Two, and typical VIP transport!!!

@Daniel O'Sullivan They're flown in on a C5 ahead of time, same as the presidential limo.
@Daniel O'Sullivan It's HMX-1, so yes it would have been from Andrews AFB probably, but not this morning, maybe a day or 2 ago.

They came out of af1. They can fit helicopter, planes, tanks, and the white house. It's a big plane.

Excellent video. I wonder what the politics was behind using Stansted and not a military airfield. Also, what's the role of the 757 does anyone know?
Stansed is probably closer to London than any suitable military field , Gatwick and Heathrow are just to congested to handle the extra traffic , also Stansted is the designated Hijack Airport where Hijacked aircraft are brought into .
Google User the 757 (C-32) is usually for press corps, and other cabinet positions as well as support staff.
They are using to fly to France.
I can't even imagine how much these state visits must cost

Hello jom atok this is not a silly question at all. A few days before there were larger transport aircraft that transport the 'marine one' seaking helicopters. As for the chinooks they either transport ina similar way or come in from us air force bases already in the uk

Hello Stephen thank you for watching my video of Air Force One. The helicopters themselves usually get transported via larger transport aircaft a few days before such as the Lockheed C5 super galaxy.
Where is Air Force One now?
They usually fly the Ospreys.
