Why do they use two different types of pistons like that? Seems like a rather odd design choice that just creates unnecessary potential issues for their customers.
Subaru states it fine tunes each bore and the closest to each size which I don't understand. I mean the size difference is very minute but I my experience that's enough to cause piston slap.
