How was your battery after the replacement? I got the battery bloated since my replacement in 2020, very annoying this problem battery in this model :(
I don’t think it has anything to do with the laptop it’s just a combination of luck and the quality of the replacement battery. I have had it installed for around 8 months now without issue. This is my third battery, I previously had it replaced by Apple. When Apple does the replacement they replace the entire laptop body including keyboard, my DIY replacement didn’t do that so I still have a bulge from the bent/stretched laptop bottom cover. I’d say replacing the battery every 2-3 years if the bulge bothers you maybe normal, there must be a lot of people in need of these batteries for aftermarket manufacturers to exist.

My friend have the version 2018 and did not get this issue for about 5 years now, so I will maybe take the new model if my battery will swollen again in 1 years. It was a pleasure to leave the first comment :)
@@andrei1457 the 2016 and 2017 models have a screen connector issue people call “flexgate” which is very expensive to fix then there are keyboard issues on a lot of other models. I think the issues have been resolved in newer models that use an apple designed processor.
