This is a bridge to gantry time, so it's really about an 8-minute lap which is absolutely insane for such a tiny car that is intended for rough rally type roads. I'd love to see a type R try to keep up with it on gravel or mud, or possibly even wet tarmac. 😁

@@robertsaca3512The title says stock suspension. Based on the poor acceleration and low uphill speed, I presume the power is stock too. Obviously, the weight is lower than normal and the tyres may be better than stock. Still, it is a good time for that car.

This is a public lap with traffic done by private driver, I think an official Toyota lap wit closed traffic, still may scratch a few seconds off the stopwatch. Well done Captain. I have my GR since few weeks and I did not touched my other cars for a while

Unter Peugeot war es zumindest zeitweise etwas besser. Corsa D, Astra J und Astra K waren schon echt billo verglichen mit den gleichaltrigen VW Modellen. I have a diesel Yaris 1.4 from year 2008 and a brand new PSA (full French) made Opel Combo Life (incredibly small petrol 1.2 3-cylinder turbo) 7 seater as my family car. After 200.000 km yaris has no any problem and still love it, but a bit small with 3 children. Opel had check engine message at 9000 km. Okay I found out just remove the battery for while, the check engine disappears. Like windows ctr+alt+del.
@@Scifo321 the acceleration and top speeds are very similar to every other lapped I’ve watched. If it’s tuned it’s basic, also back then the ecu wasn’t tuneable so even an exhaust wouldn’t have gained power by much as the car use torque targeting in its factory map

@@jimsagubigula7337 it's ok! Everyday we learn something new. Many people at the TF does not know that and its a pitty. Racetrack rules do not apply here. There are days where it does open as racetrack but in TF(most of the videos are those days), you just pay a toll to access the road.
The cornering is spot on, and i dont think you can improve the car much more, but you need more power.. i looked but i dont find Numbers but you should try and get 330hp to get 7:2x
@@captaingaskrank4216 from what i Saw first i would get a bit more power you are losing some sec on the fast parts of the track, the suspension like i said is almost Max, you are cornering Arenberg at 98km/h a Porsche GT3 does it in like 103km/h..
@@captaingaskrank4216 The only thing you will "improve" by pushing the suspension even further is the probability of a BRUTAL crash. Your corners are amazing the way they are. Just like Andre said, get a bit more power instead of trying to go through corners even faster. 😉
