Combined with the V1 battle belt, I've got a really well put together system. If your running on a budget, this is a great system. It's a budget cost system but far exceeds what others are in budget quality, this is top notch stuff.

After a lot of research, I bought a Tacticon molle rifle bag for my Zastava AK earlier this year. Tough, plenty of pouches for mags and accessories and the built in shoulder straps feature for carrying on my back is great. Absolutely love it. Wanted a chest rig or plate carrier for AK mags. Bought a chest rig from another manufacturer and wasn't really happy with it. I wanted a true plate carrier and went back to Tacticon when I discovered they made the V2. I'm not ex-military or LEO so I'm not an expert, but from my experience the fit and features of the V2 are amazing, especially at this price. Just check out the plate carrier pricing from other companies. I just needed to re-knot and lengthen the pull tabs for AK mags and adjust the shoulder straps, but those were the only adjustments I needed to make. This a fantastic company that knows what sport shooters need and they offer a well built product at a fantastic price. Very helpful vid as well. Kudos to the team at Tacticon!
@@danielmackormack8524 Yes sir! You can get the 36-in bag to accommodate the 16-in AR or you can get the 42-in bag if you plan on putting a larger rifle in with it down the road. It's a double rifle bag so It will comfortably hold two rifles but isn't any bigger than a single rifle bag believe it or not

Bought one of these and the lite. Wasn't a big fan of the lite at first but has grown on me. Use it for the range. The V2 is def more comfortable with the plates on and like Nolan said, really good balance
I like the bungee that you can replace like this vest has. The problem with elastic is that when it's exposed to the elements, over time it can become brittle and lose it's elasticity. When the elastic portions of the cummerbund are sewn into the vest, well you'll have a hard time replacing it, but when the cummerbund uses bungee such as this one, which can be replaced for literally pennies, that allows you to have an elastic cummerbund that will last for the whole life of the vest.

Got this just to have with soft armor and to use as a magazine carrier. I have your 3x magnifier and a eotec for the money yours isn't half bad and is better than my Sig Juliet even.
I just got mine, for the half off or 40% off coupon its not a bad deal. I looked it over and over all it was alright for what your getting. Few minor things where had to burn away a ton of nylon frays that where all around it,for something mass produced I was kind of expecting that. Only other problem their was a pair of the molle rows in the back where the cummerbund weves in that the threads had come undone. I honestly did not wanna do a return so, a quick five min on the sewing machine fixed it, yea probably violated the warranty but whatever easy fix. For what it is its not bad for what your getting if your looking for some entry level gear on the sale price. I mainly got it out of curiosity or as a throw your buddy to try out, maybe add some padded shoulder straps for heavier plates and your kind of solid.

You said 500D but your web site lists the material as "900D nylon". Which is it? A suggestion, the molle webbing is bar tacked but the shoulder straps aren't. Perhaps consider bar tacking where the straps meet the plate bags as well. I bought one on your Amazon promotion and liked it. After checking that it would adjust down to fit my 4'10"/105lb wife I picked up a second for her.

i wanted a vest/plates mainly for training. i was looking at 5.11 and rogue and i was able to get the tacticon bundle for less than it would have been to basic weight plates and an equivalent vest. and it stops bullets

great question! From my testing and experience yes. This is Nolan here, I don't have combat experience. That being said I have shot quite a few of our plates inside of the carriers. From my finding the jacketing from 9mm, 5.56, and 7.62x39 gets completely locked into the frag coating of our plates. Only after about 65-75 rounds did the coating start ripping up. so again from my experience yes it helps.
I just seen another product of your guys it was another plate carrier how did you guys get away with perfectly copying the agilite k19 plate carrier and I'm wondering where you guys cut Corners to get the cost down so low?
Good question. Here's the rub. We start development on a product with a baseline in mind. A carrier that's already tried and true and well-reviewed. We dig deep into the bowels of the internet to find the NEGATIVE feedback (even on the k19), then we fix all the small issues that the product has. BOOM... the perfect carrier. Without the need to spend $100k on R&D and simply fix a few things on existing products, manufacture them in insanely high quantities, AND sell them in high volume (and just fundamentally not get greedy with our margins like all these other companies are) we are able to sell them at often 1/3 of the price and still standing by our LIFETIME WARRANTY. Thus... leaving our R&D budget wide open to develop the worlds most innovate armor... which... we do. We only have so many units of energy to devote to true innovation so we put that into our lifesaving armor technology. Hope that helps explain some things my friend!

Held together by elastic Paracord. When constant pressure is applied to the knot with the stretch of the woven Paracord, Then it completely disables any possibility for the knot to be disassembled or to come undone.
it can accommodate up to 1.3" thick plates. PLENTY of room while still giving you internal retention straps to keep it in place. Thanks for the question!

Why would you take a step backwards by removing the more modern hook and loop ONLY cummerbund? And why won't you tackle the topic of stitching on your products? You have some of the lowest quality stitching on the market, despite having prices higher even than like Condor Outdoor, who are arguably higher quality, which is REALLY saying something.

The cummerbund is held on by shock cord? So if the little knot comes undone like it did in this vid on the mag pouch the cummerbund will fall off??
