Hi Dj, I just love love love these smaller journals i am having a blast making them with you. My favourite season is spring everything is starting to grow again, and flowers are busting out, Bees are busy. This year spring forgot to come feels more like summer where I live although the mornings are cooler if you are up early enough, I live in Queensland Australia. Thank you for sharing all the beautiful papers\kits and videos you make your inspiration is amazing sure do appreciate all your hard work 🙏💜🧡
I made my cover using the box lid of a pizza box and I covered the front with fabric and used some of the kit for the inside of the cover. I glued a long strip of cotton fabric under the inside cover so that I can tie it for a closure. I'm going to use a hidden spine to sew in my three signatures.
Fall is my jam. Right now I’m cutting everything out while watching this video and designing the cover in my head. UniquelyRose and I will work on the inside on the 14th over video chat.
I spray paint my paper clips on freezer paper. They don't stick to it after they dry. This is a super fun mini-journal! I'm looking forward to making one, too!

Thank you for the freebie. Spring has been windy and dry but blossoms and leaves are coming on the trees. We definitely have Autumn in the southern states of Australia - my favourite season too. I love walking through the fallen leaves and what great potential compost.
We only have 2 seasons in the year! Autumn and winter! We have had our autumn season for the last few months and now moving into winter 🙁. That’s Scotland for you 😂. I do love this kit, I have just printed it off and about to start working with it. Thank you DJ. ❤❤❤❤

Fall is my favorite time, too. Crisp smells, fluttering leaves, early baking, and no four letter word starting with s and ending in w! I fall every year, and I hurt myself by breaking bones and going through enough kleenex to sink a ship. 😂. I do enjoy crafting and deliverd groceries. Blessings 😊
How adorable! I laughed, btw when your dryer song came on😂 Both my washer and dryer play a song when they're both finished. My washer lets me know when it needs to be self cleaned too. I always say, boy, you sure are bossy 😂
I so appreciate this beautiful kit. I have lots and lots of digital files, and I saw this again that I had saved to iCloud without designating a file name which would have been your shop. I had a time figuring out where I got it. Just a suggestion maybe a header page or something with your name on it so you can be given credit for the design when it is used. I love this kit!
I love fall as well, but currently in So Cal we are having a heat wave with temps over 100! its horrible. This kit will at least give me hope for cooler weather to come.

I'm in the process of making one.. Just done the cover, waiting for it to dry then I will stitch. used my Cricut to cut the leaves as there was not way I'd be able to fussy cut them 😀
I printed lined paper on the backs of the kits pages so that whoever I give the journal to can write on the back. I also printed my pages on cardstock.
We get a different kind of Autumn to the Fall you guys get in many places. Where we are we do not get such a dramatic colour display as they would in the hills around us. I like the 'in-between' seasons auto immune diseases make the winter and summer really difficult for me.

Both! I did resize some.
The paper clips can also be colored with markers or paint pens. I have used markers on my staples before removing them from the container.

I bought some of the Neenah cardstock on Amazon. Do you ever find it "breaks" a bit when you fold it? I've noticed that a few times with mine :(

It is a knitting needle cover. I don’t have a link but you can buy them on Amazon or at Joann Fabrics, Michael’s or most craft stores and yarn shops.
I don’t have trouble with it clogging - mine acts like a volcano oozing lava - I have to plug it up quickly or I lose too much glue.
Ahh that too yes. My mix seems to help with all of that.
Whenever I make a cover out of thin cardboard, it always bows. Do you have any tips for that?
Yes try dampening the cardboard slightly (I use a spray bottle) and let it dry in the rounded position. Covering it with fabric helps too. 😊
