  • Hi Everyone,
    Today we are making these super cute embellishments using a technique we learned from Mary ‪@maryferrari-espressopressd7921‬ . As you will see in the video we had a vintage piece of handmade jewelry that we wanted to try to recreate and we did a pretty good job of it! These are so fun to make!
    We will have these available already made as well as a digital of a variety of designs that you can print out and create your own in our Shop.
    We hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to give us a Thumbs up and Subscribe!

    Hi Penny and Debbie, love these paper pebbles, the flower on the original is Nigella [love in the mist]. The foil is for making stained glass windows and is easy to use and mold, and gives a weight to the piece. Copper or alimunium foiling is fun too! The crinkle edge one {Debbie?] would be adorable as a postage stamp. Sand to remove any wax paper hangover. When would you punch a hole - at the beginning or at the very end? Would it work with a cold laminator? So many ideas, so little time - this will be my hour of joy tomorrow. It's midnight here in NZ - love and prayers Helen 🙃[retired florist]

      You can emboss using a wooden rolling pin on a hard, solid surface. But you gotta push with all your might...not just once, but multiple times...and you would need to get the 2 acrylic sheets...Michaels carries them...

    Wow what a new idea! Thanks for sharing. Question the dark edges do they just dry that way or did you ink them. I’m wondering if you use permanent ink and put it in certain places you could get a lot of dimension on a flat surface just like when we ink our pages. It would have to be permanent ink or that mod podge would make streaks. You could try inking after or even using distress inks after the process is done and dry and play with water drops . I don’t know just throwing out ideas.

      @dawnbrosnan7186 Hi Dawn, Great ideas! We just used distress ink around edges before we applied Mod Podge and the wax paper. We think the permanent ink would work better because we felt the distress ink looked a little muddy. We did not ink any of the circles. • @PrintnPixelStudio
      @PrintnPixelStudio  День назад

      @paulanoctor2434 Hi Paula, We first printed our design on copy paper and then glued the paper to the cardboard backing, then applied ModPodge to the surface of the printed design and then applied a sheet of wax paper. For the circles it is the same process. Then we used a BigShot embossing machine and circle die to cut out shapes. We are going to do another video coming out on Monday 9/23 at 6:00 am EST. We have had so many comments asking about using other materials and how to get the same effect without an embossing machine that we are going to try all of these suggestions and see how they turn out. We hope you will check out this video because there will be some good ideas and tips there. We are so happy for your comment because sometimes it is confusing for new crafters. We forget that sometimes when making videos. We were talking about this yesterday and will be trying to do a better job at explaining processes we use in future videos. @kellyBellcambridgegiftsbykelly Hi Kelly, I don't think the finish on the little pin is paraffin, it doesn't have any kind of waxy feel to it. The closet thing it looks like is wax paper. • @PrintnPixelStudio

      @marygough6554 Hi Mary, We are glad you asked that question. We should have mentioned it in video. We keep a glass of water on crafting table and put are brushes in there if we are not going to be using them in a few minutes. The Yes Paste is water soluble so the clean up is really easy. We keep a rag net to water glass so we can squeeze out excess water as needed. It is a little more work than glue stick, glitter glue, etc. but believe you will love this glue. We don't get any financial compensation from Yes Paste manufacturer. We just buy it on Amazon. We used it years ago and just rediscovered recently. We swear by it.
