I'm always the type of person who goes for demonstrations, not explanations. But, those pipes look and sound badass! Keep up the good work and stay safe!
@@mortalterrorRE the 2-1 is nice. i was originally going for the mayhem pipes but i did not want to go through removing the whole thing and doing a tune. slip ons are easier
I went with the rcx exhaust and I’m pretty pleased but if you live in a neighborhood where you like your neighbors you might want to stay away from them but was a pretty easy install nice quality and sounds awesome as well
Dang that’s a good sound! Although I really dig the Freedom Combat 2-1 for the Indian Scout Bobber too but it’s not dual exhaust like you mentioned you wanted to keep
I have the same pipes on the same bike - LOVE THEM!! And you're right, distracted drivers make no mistake about me being next to them. One year later, I went with a S&S air box, and got a Powervision CX tuner - VAST IMPROVEMENT!!! If you think it's snappy and sounds cool now, just wait until you go full stage 1. It sounds even deeper and throatier, especially when you really get on it.
@@gila3116 I bought both from DennisKirk.com, but later found out I should have gone to FuelMoto.com for the tuner, as they provide better tunes and better support than Powervision...but you have to buy it from them to get the support. Absolutely loved this video... and holy shit you are ripped.. I am planning on getting an Indian Scout Bobber myself and I think after this vid I may just get the twin slash slip ons as well.
If and when I get this bike I'm getting the 2 into 1 pipes. I don't love the price but they make the bike look amazing. These sound amazing Vance & Hines makes some of the best pipes.
I have this bike and have just fitted the slash cut exhaust from V&A, there is a huge HUGE difference to the stock exhaust, no video I have watched has done the sound justice... I was told [whilst town riding @ low revs] that my exhaust was obnoxiously loud!! :D .... I call that a win!! hah! they look good, they sound great and can be fitted fairly easily in under an hour...
My buddy has a 48 and I have the Scout Bobber. Having been on both, please do yourself a favor and get the scout. I have fallen in love with this bike, while my buddy already wants to sell his 48 (we got them at the same time.) Again I have been on his many times, and vice versa, and we both prefer the scout ten fold. Either way have fun brother
My move would’ve been getting shorty tips which would’ve kept it thunder & saved a lot of $$$ for some drag bars or that 200 rear wheel kit you mentioned. Keep riding brotha!
That hardest part for me with the exhaust swap was keeping it under hard throttle. Lol once I had the new pipes on I was right in it had to check myself a couple times because I was riding that exhaust note more than the road.
Dry Phil Logic awesome! They are loud enough to upset the neighbors but luckily I live right by the road otherwise they are perfect. Cheers man and be safe as well
I’m in the process of selecting what to buy. Indian Scout Bobber, Rebel 1100 or Suzuki Boulevard M109. So far Bobber is top of the list and your video is amazing so Bobber it will be.
Great looking bike. I'm torn between the scout and the bobber. I love the looks of the bobber but I've heard that because of the short front fender, rocks come up and ding the radiator, causing it to dent. Have you experienced that?
You should have seen what it sounded like with just the stock one's off plus it looked sick with just the shorty's I don't know if anyone else noticed that
The major problem with the Grenades is that it makes impossible to ride with a passenger. (You can by installing acessories and adapters, which will make the bike less confortable for the person being the passenger).
Nice ride.. great exhaust. Like many here, also planning on getting a similar set up. It’s been a few months.. wondering if you also went for the air intake... and tune? I’d like to get all 3 and do it myself. For anyone who can reply... will a shop (or dealer where I buy the bike), do the tune for me? Thanks and keep riding.
Elias Rivera no, not really. I guess it depends on the helmet? My helmet is as pretty noisy and the pipes weren’t loud enough to need hearing protection
5:28 is what you're here for.
4:00 how you managed to refrain from starting the bike with no mufflers on, that is beyond my capabilities!
I did that with my VTX 1800 inside my shed. I almost passed out it was so loud! But to your point, ya gotta know.....😃

I hope you're not basing their wiseness on that comment.
What fuckin loser said that

Can’t go wrong w/ Vance & Hines! Great vid, the bike sounds great.
Damn. That sounds so good with the pipes.
not bad right? its perfect imo

haha seriously. pics are a must

Wow that sound good
Hi, I installed a Vance and Hines on my bobber as well. Sound is awesome. Mine is loud without the quiet baffles. Do you have the quiet baffles on?
Nice! Are these the 3" or 4"? Also, did you have to tune it with new pipes?
Great job. Are they truly a slip on or does it need to be tuned?
Dumb question, but does this fit scout bobber sixty abs 2021? Love the video bdw

Hey men. Congratulations. How this bike fit a taller guy like 1,86 m ? Thanks .
Love the pipes, where did u get them from ? What’s the model details? I’m ordering one for my one👍
Do you still have them ? If you do what’s your long turn feedback ? Did you needed to do any adjustments or anything?
Sounds a lot better.
I had a Scout and put a Hacker exhaust on it, full system. It was so loud it could wake the dead. Yes, my neighbors hated me. 😂
Niiiice growl to’em 👌🏾
Do you have any problem with the leak air from the muffler? One more thing, do you think it too loud or loud enough?
I've been looking at the tailgunner pipes. I wonder how they compare to the vance and hines.
Do these require retune or any other changes? How about Indian warranty
Did you loosen the hose clamps on the original mufflers before you tried to pull them off?
Did you use the stock clamps or the ones that came with the slip ons?
do you have to remap the bike?
Hahaha your neighbors are still going to hate you homie! Lol. Nice bike dude
Did u do any tuning after installing the exhaust
awesome
Niceeee 🔥🔥🔥

The Dealership Should Do The Tune For You If You Get The Bike With An Intake Installation. Just Have The Pipes On Or Have Them Put Them On

How hard is that to install? It looks pretty straight forward. I don't want to waste $ taking my bike to the shop and pay them to do it.
