Yassssssss!!!! I love how you moisturize your hair, you don’t do too much but you do what’s necessary. “You don’t over water your plants” because using your OIL I have noticed a huge difference. Thank you for providing us loc queens & kings with something we didn’t know we needed

thank you so much 💚✨I thought the same thing! but we have to seal that moisture in by closing the cuticles of our strands. how do you seal in your moisture?
@@THEREALCHOLEY I don't. I lightly mist my hair with water every day. And wash with a moisturizing shampoo on weekends. Maybe will start pushing back the wash to every 2 weeks. Hair is moist light n fluffy like a pancake.😊 2 years locked in Feb. 😄 Best journey everrr.

How often do you moisturize? I’m getting my locs tomorrow & used to having my curls out having to moisturize almost every day.
Hiii!! I just recently subscribed to your channel thanks so much for taking the time for making this video and sharing tips and tricks to moisturizing your locs the right way.😊 One of the things that stood out to me was when you said you don't want to over water the plants LOL. I'm glad you said that because I currently have a water spray bottle, it has water as the base, and aloe vera, as well as leave in conditioner and a little bit of, hair oil in it. I would moisturize my hair at least once a day and just whenever it feels dry. Another thing that stood out to me was, the bonnet. Because when I'm taking a shower I always like wear a bonnet and also a shower cap on top of it. So I like how you said you know you want to allow the steam to enter the hair cuties to promote growth so the locs can grow faster.
So I guess my question is what do you recommend me putting in my spray bottle, water, aloe vera, and hair oil? And I know I said I moisturize once a day and just whenever my hair feels dry, but how often do you recommend moisturizing locs? And also my last question the next Time I'm taking a shower I don't have to wear a bonnet and shower cap I can just do like you did in the video just let the water enter the hair cuticles that way to allow the locs to grow faster?

i retwist every 6-8 weeks. when i have an occasion i want to retest for i just retwist then :)
i wash my hair every month or 5 weeks.

Hydration with the water IS MOISTURIZING. Oil DOES NOT moisturize. It locks the moisture in.
I know that. oil seals in the moisture
that’s why you never oil dry hair cause it’s not hydrated…
