Yeah…… “a musical journey” is a perfect way to describe it. The musicianship on display is simply phenomenal. It’s just crazy. All of it is just mental. It’s so so good.
2:16 "What is that?" Okay, Danny Carey jokes aside, that's a Mandala pad, I believe a variant of their v3. Basically an insanely fancy electronic drum pad.
The only band that's nearly as transportive as Tool is Pink Floyd.
