The Warning are skilled musiciams but, at the same time, they're so artificial, so commercial, just like 99% of mexican music wich could be just fine "ear food" but always ends tasting the same. Argentinian musicoans and bands are real talents because they are in search of sounds and meanings instead of doing what works for the market. That's why all mexican artists have argentinians among their favourite influences. It's like cars... you can have a very good massively built car by a big brand but quality and exclusivity is in the few ones, produced by real artists, real engineers and real craftsmen in small series for the less crowded markets of very experienced customers. They have the numbers but argenine artists have the prestige and the secrets ot the art...

When I was in the Navy on my first forward deployed cruise, this was an album played every night in our divisions berthing area ventilation, storage compartment stereo system.
