I will never get used to running on the left side of the subway, in level one, for speedrunners. As a kid, shit always blew up the level and now PTSD prevents me from using that path.
Run along the pillars like I did. Much safer when you swing left. If you’re too close to the center the grenade will carom and hit the wall close to the bomb.
The setup I use is fairly consistent. The only thing that appears to be random is where the chopper spawns. And that's one of two spots. Either way, if you're close enough and have good nerves, a 58-65 second level is doable most of the time.
Has anyone considered doing a No K3G4 run, I've had the idea for a while. I'm getting a homemade scaler made so that I can record runs that don't look like complete garbage. I'm not even touching this category tho

A no K3G4 run wouldn't be too hard. More headshots, but otherwise pretty straightforward. I have looked into possibly doing a no damage run, but I need to work on some strats for that one.
Fire truck skip is too dicey on hard mode because the guards are more accurate and dangerous. Technically, it could be done, but you'd need some help from the game.
This deathless, hard mode, world record speedrun is too sick!
The deathless part is the most astonishing thing and it's going to make beating this time that much harder.

Yeah, it's a pretty easy setup if you do the turn right, but it also is easy to mess up because you have a short window.
