    Hahahah, spot on. The mannerisms, the conversation, forcing the cigarettes AND the pants 2 sizes too small. You got it all! So many other details too that were very funny. One of the best videos you've done IMO. Very entertaining and well thought out. Whoever wrote this one, more like this!

    Wow such an amazing skit. You guys got the character and personality spot on. And fun fact: I was born in Shanghai and grew up on HuaShan Lu. My grandparents had a place there, making this skit extra nostalgic for me.

    Most of the security guards wave me off with "Ting bu dong, Ting bu dong" before I can ask them for directions.
    When I persist, they are surprised to learn they can understand me, but it very rarely turns into a full conversation like in this skit.

      Yeah, it's an idiom meaning not so fantastic or only average, it's also the go-to word for non-Chinese Chinese speakers I swear. It's a real phrase, but I can't say I recall having heard a native speaker use it in a genuine context lol. Kind of a textbook phrase I'd say.

    Two phrases that really hit the spot in the skit were "tian tian ci niu pai, he niu nai" and "ni ne ge ao da li ren nao zi bu tai hao". Spot on with the inflection, reminds me of my uncle. Love all your videos but this is my fav!
