I guess this series isn’t getting a lot of views, but personally I’ve really enjoyed it. It’s just so interesting and nuanced to dive into theoretical matchups like this.
Most likely just due to a lot of newer people that haven't been around long enough to know of these teams. But for those of us that grew up watching all of these teams come and go over the years, then this series has been a lot of fun to put them in a head to head of some kind
I forget which tourney it was, but I remember Sean Gares picking Astralis to win it and at that time they were semi new and their reputation wasn't godlike and he talked about how they looked like the best team even though the results didn't back it up and that was basically the start of the Astralis Era. Just wanna give props to the legend that predicted this amazing era when nobody else did.
Love the series, it's probably niche content because most people don't really watch videos like this, but for a nerd like me it's amazing. ty richard and the crew!
I'd think he's pretty comfortably the best IGL to not have won a major. The only other contender is MSL, Snappi and Cadian? Maybe I'm forgetting something but I struggle to put those guys up against ex6tenz
Thank you for making this series. Historical content will (usually) never gain much traction but its crucial for people to find out how the scene has evolved and the players that built it.
this might be the most niche content i absolutely devour. even my cs mates are not interested in hearing about theoretical matches of old teams haha. but its just brillant, isnt it?
18:45, correction: Karrigan HAS a major and he won it YESTERDAY :) ( ofc I know this was pre recorded but it's always nice to remember Karrigan GOAT IGL )
The stewie liquid reminds me of the dennis fnatic. They slot in to replace the weakest player, it works for a while but then the performance drops below the first iteration of the team.
one topic they didn't really hit on was adren, i think he could be seen as a weakness, obviously VG didn't have a coach so in the direct matchup it doesn't matter but i don't think adren was ever the guy who calls the perfect timeout and saves his team from throwing
Shit, this LAN will take up more of the calendar than ESL. JK, in all seriousness, love the content Rich, Thorin, Spunj, & Moses, can't wait for the next match
Man the french scene has to be one of the biggest wastes of talent besides the cis scene. If just a couple of player switches happened we could have had 3 top teams from france
2019 was one of the most boring years of CS. Lot of bad teams. 2014-17 is still the most interesting years. 2022 is turning out to be more competitive.
I know this bracket was made before this last major, but I have to believe 2021/22 FaZe with Ropz would have to be on this top 16 teams already. They can take C9/Gambit's spot. Thanks for the content Richard and crew!

I agree, a shame they don’t put this on Spotify or another podcast site

ex6tenz has managed to become probably the best igl without a major again without lifting a finger, very impressive
Thorin gave you a shoutout in the dexerto podcast 😂😂
Pretty bold of you to host this lan a day after the major.
Rich has bigger balls than all of ESL, they put Dallas a whole week after the Major
He recoreded it way before and releasing the episodes 1 by 1. He told that in 1st video.
@@himanshusikarwar7011 There's surely no way he prerecorded a whole lan
@@ffsFonix I guess CSGO really is scripted
@@himanshusikarwar7011 the only reason i even realized this was because of thorins new haircut LOL
Dont know how people dont watch this its by far my favorite series right now

Shoutout to Moses for caster cursing Karrigan winning the major when you guys recorded this
18:25 Wish this question gets picked up again, now that Karrigan won one.

Ty Rich and the lads. Commenting for the algo. NMC was a banger.
Never forget Keith and his hatred for dogs
Great content. I think the interaction between you all really adds to it for me
Glad to see more episodes of this series still coming!
I'm loving this series. Thank you!

Awesome content guys. Been loving this. Cheers.

Wait is one of them missing on RUclips? Or did they do 2 games in an episode and I missed that
Well to be honest Richard I am truly enjoying the series! Just another one to turn my brain on autopilot and listen to! Love the content Rich
I've watched all these while I grind kz. It's great content guys thank you

great series as always
Man, even more than the rest of the matches so far, I wish these two teams could have actually played a match. So many star riflers!
The stewie liquid reminds me of the dennis fnatic. They slot in to replace the weakest player, it works for a while but then the performance drops below the first iteration of the team.
really curious to see the opinions on '14 LDLC v '18 Faze, RIP Nikola "SHUTTUP" Kovac
Love the content rich, this serries has been really interesting
this is what happens when u take too long with hosting a lan
now u have to start all over again with 2022 faze clan attending
any chance of running a Bot version of this tournament and see what happens?
Long have we waited
Can't wait to hear a round of Banks during the final of this Lan
there are a few of us who actually say we want it and then watch it.
Where can I buy tickets!?!? I don't want to miss the matches

shoutout to pex who always had that shaky aim at ETS with 50 people standing behind him.

Great content we love to see 💜
Twistzz (After winning the Antwerp major): What are you gonna say about it now, EliGE?
Love this series, unlucky draw for VeryGames, as a boomer from 1.6 I remember how damn impressive those French boys were together
I am so hungry for more of this, can't believe it's getting low views.

These videos have been great but... yeah just makes me sad about what happened to liquid

I agree but watching Astralis run things for 2 years (?) during that gap was pretty entertaining for me

Great series, sad that the views dont reflect that
VeryGames vs Team Liquid. Is that the No Majors Club of the time travel lan?
best series
Karrigan got the major now! Lol

Team Liquid's 64 day era.
I love the content that no one watch - PS : I'm actually outraged you didn't invite 2022 faze to this event
this was recorded before they won the major
also 16 team invite limit
@@ImaTip So what? I think that teams from the future should be allowed as well. The 2024 Ence team shouldve been here as well
