Steve - try this ratio: 45mL Rye (I used Sazerac, which is 45%) 30mL Campari 22.5 mL Lemon 10 mL Simple (1:1) 5 Muddled Red Grapes Probably one of my favs of all time--perfectly balanced. Thank you for all of the great content!
I'm definitely loving the Fall and I really loved the original. WOW what an awesome cocktail. Thanks Steve for what you do. You inspire me to make all sorts of drinks. Cheers!
I live in an isolated mountain town in the Rockies of Canada, and can't always get the ingredients you or my bartender's guide call for. So I had to come up with a variation for the Enzoni. It's as close to the real deal as I could manage with what we get at the local store. I use a 1 to 1 measure: 1oz/30ml Gin. 1oz/30ml Campari or Aperol (whatever you can get.) 1oz/30ml Lemon juice. 1oz/30ml white grape juice. No need for simple, the grape juice is sweet enough, and 1oz/30ml is about the amount of juice you would get from 5 grapes.... probably. Like I said, when your supplies are limited, you do the best with what you have. Hope someone tries this and likes it.
After I watched the first Enzoni video we went through so many grapes and lemons. It was my summer drink. Made the fall version tonight. It will be my fall drink. I used Rittenhouse Rye, had it on hand. So good. Thank you so much!
Just started watching Steve last night and binged like 10 videos. Hilarious how I picked up on the shake smile very quickly and so does everyone else 😂
@@Aimtofflan You definitely taste the grapes in there. They add a little bit of sweetness and different types of acids that complement the sourness of the lemon real nice.
Steve, love the upgrades you have to the camerawork and cuts. you still keep the small mistakes and other quirks which add levity, but the professionalism of the shot is much higher compared to the older videos with autofocusing cameras
Amazing ! I made it today and I m drinking it at this moment. I replace the rye wiskey by Maker's Mark bourbon, so good balance between all the flavours. It will be sure one of my prefered cocktail. Thanks a lot for this recipe Steve.
Cheers, my preference would be with Rye where strong flavors amalgamate with grapes bitter sweet sourness and the orange flavor from campari. Gin florals notes get mild when its combined with full and natural juices. Gin's flavor can be better enjoyed with ice, infused fruits or fruit feels and soda water or artificial flavored tonic water.
Fall Enzoni might be my favorite drink ever since I saw it on Leandro’s channel. Edit: I definitely recommend trying it with 80-proof rye, also. It ends up a little more balanced than with 100-proof in my experience. This one drink is the only reason I keep a bottle of 80-proof rye on hand.
Just tried it, and I must say, this is my favorite whiskey cocktail yet! I don’t know if it’s the time of year, but I definitely prefer it over the regular enzoni.
I'll make one or the other depending on what type of grapes I have haha I think I prefer the Enzoni for being a brighter more refreshing cocktail but both are great! The fruit sweetness of the grapes really balances and plays well with the Campari.
Enzoni is a cocktail every Negroni lover must try, or as STB said a first time Campari experience. The balance of muddled grapes with Campari is brilliant. But if whiskey replaces gin it was a boulevardier? LOL! Anyway this one will be enjoyed by many. TY STB!
The Enzoni definitely has similiarities to a Negroni and of course with that cocktail, swapping the gin out for whiskey makes for a Boulevardier. However, the Enzoni in either iteration lacks sweet vermouth. I agree though, whichever version of a negroni/enzoni its absolutely fantastic!
Loved both these recipes. I'm gonna to try sub out the simple syrup for raspberry syrup just because i'm trying to use up the raspberry syrup. Hoping it will give a more vibrant color too as the campari alone didnt make mine pop as much as i thought...
I will have to make the fall Enzo I as soon as I get time to get some lemons. I'm betting that one will be my favorite, as rye whisky is my favorite spirit.
Enzoni is one of my favorites. But isn´t the gin one traditionally made with green grapes? I´ve tried both versions (gin and rye) and they are both amazing. Gin with green, rye with red. It also adds to the depth of the cocktail.
Great video Steve! Your personality has really been coming out in your recent videos, more playful, lighthearted maybe? I don't know, but it's good. Even if I have no intentions of making the cocktail, I enjoy watching you create them. Any idea when we get to see the be set up and Kat-cam? (Is it Kat or Cat?)
Really cool video. It looks like a tough decision which one is better. Thanks for the idea. Now I guess the Campari sales will rise, with everyone comparing at home/ hehe Cheers!
Hello all. Steve, first off, I like your videos. I even took the time to download the "Shake and Strain" app. In search for a blueberry ingredient in the "My Bar" the subcategory "Fridge/Pantry" I noticed you have two options for one fruit, the Blackberry. Perhaps one was meant to be blueberry, only because I was in search for such, he he. Just a note to you about it. Keep up the good work. Also, looking to get a bottle of the Mr Coffee for the holidays. Nice.
Hi Steve, in the version with the Gin you used 15 ml Simple Syrup. Would you still do it for the gin or have you changed this aswell as the fall enzoni asks for 22,5 ml?
I like the fall enzoni more than the enzoni, I’ve used a cheap Aldi (those of you not Europeans that’s a German cut price supermarket with lots of own brand copies of standard brands) rye whiskey and it’s worked just fine. The Campari does the trick and I’ve used Demerara suger syrup to give a bit more depth. Tastes fuller and more rounded than the enzoni (tasted a bit thin to me). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I live in Germany and I gotta say, you're a braver man than I for attempting Aldi spirits. that said I can totally see how the bold flavor of the Campari and the richness of Demerara would add balance to the whiskey. Cheers!
Damn - two great drinks!! It was too hard to pick a favourite... what would you pick... GIN or WHISKEY?
gin allll the way 🙌🏾
Love these videos man really well done
Whiskey for me, but both sound delicious
Gin all day.
Probably the gin, but that would depend on which one I was using.
Came for the cocktails, stayed for the shake-smile
IKR? That sweet grin!! Swoon! 💕
Same 😉
I just tried this with Cherries instead of grapes and I think I’m in love. Highly recommend!
Love the mutual respect you and Leandro have for each other’s channels & craft
the cut with "one hour later" and you starring at the drinks almost killed me :D
Haha, I was taking my sweet time!!
Steve - try this ratio:
45mL Rye (I used Sazerac, which is 45%)
30mL Campari
22.5 mL Lemon
10 mL Simple (1:1)
5 Muddled Red Grapes
Probably one of my favs of all time--perfectly balanced.

I'm having an Enzoni now made with green grapes and freakin' can't wait 'til my summer porch parties! This drink is now on my short list mate!
They’re great aren’t they!?
@@StevetheBartender_ Indeed they are Steve! Keep up the great work and don't forget that psychotic shaker smile!
Always a great day when Steve the Bartender uploads a video!
Steve I'm loving the new editing techniques and the ingredient list as you mix the drink. Keep it up!!
Steve looked like he was asked to choose one of his children 😂😂
This is why RUclips needs to add a Taste-O-Vision extension! I’d very likely go with the Rye but both can get it! 🥃
These both look great, I think I’d lean toward gin as well. I’ll let you know after I’ve tried 2 or 3 of each.. and wake up from a nap 😂
Nice!! 😂
A nap????? Nevermind....
This sounds like and interesting riff! Like the "warmth" of the Rye for the Fall. Great video
I'm definitely loving the Fall and I really loved the original. WOW what an awesome cocktail. Thanks Steve for what you do. You inspire me to make all sorts of drinks. Cheers!
By now it is iconic for him to smile while shaking.
I made this with Aperol and Luxardo cherry juice vice Compari and grapes - it was amazing!! I used a double rye whiskey called High West
Cool tune. I like the quotes from Autumn Leaves in there. Fits the Fall drink well!

Need to try! Enzoni is great one so Fall Enzoni sounds delish

delicious cocktail Thanks Steve
Knob Creek all the way definitely one of my favorite whiskeys. Fall Enzoni for the win!
Just started watching Steve last night and binged like 10 videos. Hilarious how I picked up on the shake smile very quickly and so does everyone else 😂
I love the Enzoni and I love Boulevard Negronis. Maybe this is the perfect compromise. Will need to try it. Enjoy your videos.
That grin gets me every time! 😁
Two of my favorites.
I just had the Gin based Enzoni last night. Light, fruity and refreshing. I am looking forward to doing the Fall Enzoni tonight
These both look good. I like the vibrant color of the campari.
"Fine strain just like I definitely did the first time." This made me laugh.
Cheers!
The Enzoni became an instant favorite for me from the moment I tasted it. I'm definitely trying this version tonight! Thanks Steve for sharing!
Crazy how much the grapes add in terms of flavour right? I did not expect it! :D

u got me addicted to the enzoni after the first video. obsessed.
Fabulous!!! Love this! Gin is my fave, then bourbon and scotch, but rye whiskey would definitely work!

How about going FULL fall (at least here in the States) and swap out the grapes for fresh cranberries!!!!
I see you used the red grapes!!!! Awesome they both look good. I think the gin would be lighter as well.
Just tried it, and I must say, this is my favorite whiskey cocktail yet! I don’t know if it’s the time of year, but I definitely prefer it over the regular enzoni.
I love it when he shakes and he smiles at the camera i find it pretty funny 😂
Hey steve, this is my favourite cocktail too. Discovered it on Leandro's channel. Cheers from Paris
Both sound good! I'd go for the rye I think, especially now, you know, in the fall.
The sponge-bob cut was hilarious. Gin ftw for me
You need to zoom with the educated barfly. Love to see you both on one episode together
Great video!
Loved this video. Both the drinks sound perfect so I guess I need to get myself some grapes and lemon. Luckily I have all the other ingredients.
I'll make one or the other depending on what type of grapes I have haha I think I prefer the Enzoni for being a brighter more refreshing cocktail but both are great! The fruit sweetness of the grapes really balances and plays well with the Campari.
Perhaps you should make a video comparing the Fall Enzoni vs Italian Gentleman vs Boulevardier. All great cocktails!

OG Enzoni frw!👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome clip bro! I’m still working up to the full recipe with Campari for this! Lol
Enzoni is one of my favorites. But isn´t the gin one traditionally made with green grapes?
I´ve tried both versions (gin and rye) and they are both amazing.
Gin with green, rye with red. It also adds to the depth of the cocktail.
Vincenzo made it with green originally but uses Concord (red) grapes when they’re in season..
I don't think I could just between the two. Will always have to drink both of them.
Could you do an updated video of old fashions. Thanks

A video using all the Créme de variations e.g Cassis, Banenne, brown and white cacao, Violette etc
Salud🍻from mexico
Ill try both please, thank you
Oh no! Now I'll have to make both😂💃🏿
definitely worth a try! these are delicious! We used red grapes but maybe also worth trying with green to mix it up?
@@StevetheBartender_ I've already tried it with the red grapes. So good😍 Can't wait to try it with the green
Good problem to have the way I see it! 😋
Hmm looks like Whiskey's answer to thr Enzoni just the way the Bouveladier is Whiskey's answer to Negroni (my personal fav). I'm intrigued
This might be the perfect drink for the Waterloo Distillery Antique gin
you are my man!

Definitely a tough call on these two!
Cold weather = fall Enzoni!!!
Hey @steve, can I use makers mark bourbon instead of rye whiskey?

May I suggest a particular Gin for the classic Enzoni? Try Nordés.
If you are doing fall cocktails would you consider making a compilation with sloe gin. Would love to learn more about it.

Not only does the color of the gin drink look brighter but gin also works better here imo
What is with the tag on the Knob Creek?
Hi Steve, in the version with the Gin you used 15 ml Simple Syrup. Would you still do it for the gin or have you changed this aswell as the fall enzoni asks for 22,5 ml?

Aren’t the seasons opposite in Australia? It’s just getting into spring down there isn’t it?
